This is a very convenient way of booking flight tickets, hotels or anything else when you plan your trip to India. Works fine, except when something goes wrong. In that case don't expect any service, they will always have an answer but not the one you're looking for, and unfortunately they will NOT refund your money. I recently returned from a trip to Andaman. Liked: The experience was very pleasant and satisfying. It was impressive to receive complete details of what all the package included prior to departure. No extra fees or hidden costs were involved. The tour guides were very professional, thoughtful & helpful. I recommend this for anyone looking for a hassle free vacation. I went to Kashmir on 10 days holidays booked through Makemytrip. I paid all the expense fifteen days in advance. When I was in Srinagar my car driver suddenly said that there is no petrol in the car and his owner didn't give money to him. I spoke to the owner and he asked me to give him 3000 INR which he would return to me next day .Luckly I had only 1500 INR with me at that time. They are horrible. i am still struggling with the refund. Cancelled my ticket well in time and informed them but they did not refund my money and kept me waiting for two month even for response. After two months, i had to start all over and they refunded less money than they were supposed to - Rs 2500 less! But make my trip haven't paid the refund into my account. Purchased tickets from them after being assured i can get a full refund if i cancel within 24 hours. When I called within 24 hours, was told there will be a penalty for each ticket. The customer reps would not allow me to speak to their supervisors, gave excuses like their system went down and they'll contact me in 2 hours (when its past the 24 hours). I just came from Charismatic Kashmir tour from MMT.(2nd week of july 2012). Im really satisfied by MMT,especially hospitalities by Hotel's n Staff.
I can suggest only to improve the Srinagar Houseboat facility and reviced the sightseeing.
MMT provided the best Hotel as they mentioned in thier package details in all places and thier food are too good.

I am really surprised to see response of 16.7.12. The lesser said the better for Charismatic Kashmir tour from MMT.In fact i know atleast 2 persons who got Typhoid after their Trip. As I told,its require to improve the houseboat facilities but the last 2 days in Srinagar was extremly fine, especailly provided Hotel was 4 star (Pine Spring) and its a month constructed. In Gulmarg & Phalgham hotel's are also very good (Hill Top). What we more need in that package?

Worst service, they say they offer lowest price but when I booked a flight ticket from Dallas to Chennai they charged me nearly $300 more than what emirates would have charged and also they overcharged $300 and there is no proper response on when they would refund the money. I have sent mails asking for invoice details and receipt in makemytrip letter head with trip details and amount paid. I have paid part amount. I have sent mails seeking info on how to pay cash and take the receipt. Honestly, you exasperate. No response to the mails sent .
