    Good Points: Covers speed/distance with foot pod as well as heart rate
    EPOC shows how effective your training is
    Altimeter
    Lap times
    Pace alarm can be set to beep if you go too slow or too fast


    Bad Points: Expensive but they all are.


    General comments: I spent a lot of time researching the Suunto T6 versus the Polar S625X and the Garmin Forerunner 305 before deciding on the T6. The T6 is the better looking watch and appears to carry the recommendation of experienced runners. The Garmin uses GPS to measure distance so would not work in the Gym. You would get a read out from the treadmill in the gym of course, but then it would not be part of your training log. The polar looks cheap in comparison to the other two.

    Having used it now for over a month, I can say I am very happy with my purchase and using it to measure my improvements in pace over longer distances.
