    Good Points: Wonderful location, well prepared menus.
    Hotel and rooms were very clean.


    Bad Points: Unfriendly service, unmotivated staff, pokey rooms and en suites.
    Lack of staff.
    Bed was small and cold at night. No extra blankets.
    We had booked a twin and were given a double... great (not) sleeping with brother in law.


    General comments: A general ambience of being made to feel not very welcome. The overall impression gained at the Kings Head Hotel in Keswick was one of 'we want your cash, but we're not really bothered about good service.'
    Rooms were cramped and uncomfortable, especially the first night when we had to get rid of all the spiders, flies and mosquitoes which had flown in through the window, which had been left open with the lights on - not the welcome one expects in the Lakes.

    Expensive, poor service and bad value. This hotel must improve.
