I went to the White Rose shop today and 4 members of staff were stood round gossiping. I felt kind of intimidated as the shop was silent and as i stood with a shoe i knew i was an inconvenience as out of 4 none of them really wanted to go get it. It was half an hour from closing.. The person serving on the till was the most awful rudest woman av come across!! If you are a bit small (like me!) get the wedge sports hi- top trainers from Garage. They look like you are wearing a flat trainer hi- top, but inside is heel. I bought mine in Glasgow in a mushroom colour- but they have a large choice of colours. The price is friendly too at £30. The staff are friendly and helpful. (read more)

Hi - I bought a pair of fantastic wedges at Garage Shoes Birmingham on Saturday. Went to a party in Manchester - stayed over at my friends place from uni. She loved them. i would like to say the customer service was totally shocking! i order some shoes the broke so took them back on a wednesday meant to get them on a friday and didnt got them 2 weeks later! i would not recomenned friend or family after what i went thought! and have to go and buy new shoes becuase they didnt come on the friday! I saw some sandals in their Nottingham store last Thursday which were perfect for my holiday in Tenerife next month. I had to wait until payday to buy them. So on Frday lunchtime I went on their site. I chose the standard delivery. Unbelievably the Postmann knocked on my door with them 10 o'clock the very next morning. Amazing!
So my advise is tkae the standard delivery - it's rapid!!!

I orderd pair of boots,my first and last time I did that. It took AGES before I received the boots, the delivery took round 2 and a half week. Better to buy the shoes in their store than order online. However there are disadvantages with the shop as well. especially the shop in birmingham (bullring) where the staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. Last Thursday I realised I need some new heels fo my friends 21st. I could'nt get out of work. So at lunchtime I ordered dome black suede ones from Garage.
By teatime they emailed me a tracking number and I was able to follow my shoes all they way to my front door.
Unfortunately they did not look right with my dress - so I had to return then. I decided to exchange them for another style which had just come into stock. They did this efficiently and without delay. I had the new pair in 2 days...

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Garage Shoes suit me and my friends just great. There is not a Garage Shoes shop near me (shame on you) - but the website is packed full of gorgeous shoes.

I ordered the same boot from their website on a Tuesday - they arrived Wednesday. They are great, and fir me perfectly. I like the fact Garage Shoes do really high heels, struggle to get high heels in High Street shops. Good prices, fashionable shoes. I bought a pair of high black sandals which I loved but the heel broke off and they would not replace them as I did not have my receipt, I had only worn them a few times so was really angry. i have had a few dealings with garage shoes and to be honest i wouldn't purchase another pair the first 2 pairs i broke one had nails coming through the sole and the other pair the heel fell off so i put it down to bad luck and I found it a hassle getting a refund and had to exchange then the pair i exchanged them for zip was damaged and heel came wobbly after 2 uses they appear to be just cheap replicas of the real thing i would advise to save yourself money and time buy the real thing! Garage Shoes seem to have highly fashionable shoes, boots and even shoeboots without spending a fortune. I heard about them from a friend who shops at their High Street store in Newcastle. The products are brilliantly priced. I've now bought 2 pairs from them and they have arrived so quickly.
