My 2 sisters and I took our 80 year old mother on a weeks cruise around the greek islands. We all had a wonderful time . we sent postcards from the Celebration ship and on our return were suprised to hear no one had received them. 3 months later they have all turned up at there addresses .so just be warned if you think about sending postcards from the ship they may not reach there detination for some time. I think ours went around the world and back. apart from that a good time was had by all and Thomson Cruises well recomended. Kathy and family

I went in april 07 and it was fantastic! Plenty to do, as much as you can eat, the cabins were comfortable and the staff were great. The toilets were clean every time i went in and the pool was too. People onboard were friendly, too. The mocktails were very nice! The shows were so good we watched them at the later showing as well! The excursions were amazing - i've had so many great expieriences and memories. I'd love to go again!

Just back from a week aboard the Thomson Celebration and what can I say, awful! We paid £147.00 to choose our deck and cabin (408) and upon returning at 23.45 on our first night we were met with a loud motor noise from the ceiling and a banging on the the outside. I phoned the reception who said the motor noise would stop as soon as we left port, which it did, but they had no idea what the banging was but they would send someone down. Guy came down, had no idea what it was, and he went bac ...

Exellent cruise in June 2007, entertainment top class, food outstanding, crew top marks especialy waiters in the main dining room, they couldn't do enough for you. Shore visit itinerary very good. we were two sixty year old couples but thought we were 20 year old again, best holiday in years. The only bad point is that the celebration is not on the med for 2008 or we would have booked 2 more cruises in april and october as soon as we returned to the u. k. To our dismay we have had to book with ...

Great value for money, not the largest ship in the world however attention to detail is amazing. The small things the staff do make a huge difference. Can teach the likes of Royal how to do it right.

I have cruised with Thomson 4 times previously and this was the first time on the celebration. The ship was excellent value for money, spotlessly clean, well organized with exemplary staff. Ok not one of the grander cruise ships in decor etc but who wants to pay the inflated prices of other cruise lines- you can pay to stay at a 5 star hotel on land! The whole nautical experience is what I presume most cruise goers opt for and the Celebration fits the bill perfectly.
    First class quality enterta ...

We've just returned from a cruise aboard the Thomson Celebration. The cruise was called 'Jewels of the Mediterranean'. There were six ports of call over the period of a week. We had not cruised as a couple before, as we are hardened independent travellers (we are previous winners of the Daily Mail independent travel family of the year competition). Our expectation was not high, but we were attracted to the cruise because the itinerary looked viable for a nice autumn break. There were a number of ...
