    Good Points: There aren't any!!!!


    General comments: I booked Aplus for my daughters 16th on 30/12/07. I paid my £50 deposit and apparantly Aplus called to speak with me but i was at work. They sent e-mails, pass words to get on the internet site. However 14 days i paid in full as was requested of me. Then it dawned on me that somethings not write as there were no more e-mails from them, nothing. Afew days later when i was speaking with a friend advising that i'm gonna have to book another disco. Is when she suddenly said that a disco was being investigated by Watchdog. Unbelievable, i felt so stupid. But hey we live and learn, this was a very expensive xmas as i had to fork out for 2 disco's. At least the second booking turned up and i paid him at the end of the disco. I book a lot of things via the internet this has definitely put me off.

    I booked a party for my 5 year old after a conversation with Aplus. They had offered me "free" party bags - I had asked some questions regarding how many they would provide and what would be in them, and the person was very vague. I went ahead and booked the party anyway, but this nagged me, so I searched via Google and found this web-site plus the Watchdog reviews.     I arranged a DJ for my nephew's 9th b'day party and no one turned up. Deposit not being returned either.

    If there was a 'professional' company that did not keep its promise, this is it! Inherently unreliable.

    Not all DJ's are like this company appears to be. Aplus has been shunned by the industry. The majority are hard working, honest and reliable. There are a handful, as in most industries, that tarnish the efforts of the others. When making a booking for any kind of entertainment, not just a DJ, always get the name of the entertainer and a contact number before handing over any money!

    I booked a magic show and disco for my daughter's Birthday party, they seemed very eager at first the responses were quite sharp in ensuring that the deposit was paid and final payment had to reach them 14 days before the event. Once they had the cash I never heard from them again. I became anxious during the week before the party that I hadn't heard from them so I rang them again and left an e-mail for them to confirm that they were actually going to turn up.     I booked and paid Aplus Entertainment for a Magician for my daughters 8th Birthday in February 2007. The day before the party I contacted APlus to confirm details, and I was told the magician/disco would arrive at 1:15.
    No one showed on the day, leaving a hall full of disappointed children.

    I booked Aplus Entertainment Children's Entertainers for my daughter for her party on the 13th of October. Aplus kept sending emails asking where my deposit was, even though it had already been deposited in their account. Something felt wrong and I tried to contact them to ask a few questions about my booking. I called them every day and was on the phone for 40 mins at a time.     I have also used this company to book a party and had exactly the same experience. DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!!!! For anyone who is interested, I have investigated this company as far as I can and there is only 1 director registered with Companies House and i found his details. I have tried to confirm this information through the electoral role, but have not been able to confirm this.

    I was just about to make a booking for my child's party in October. I called Aplus Entertainment twice, and they gave helpful advice. I followed instructions for payment, but something didn't feel right, as depositing straight into their bank account didn't seem normal business practice. So I did a search and found this site. I hope all those who have bookings turn out to be OK.

    I booked entertainment for my son's birthday for 14th October 2007. I paid the booking fee and had a question about the booking. Aplus Entertainment never replied. I emailed, contacted them on the website and phoned every day, each time being on hold for over 1 hour.

    After reading the many comments here I decided to look at their website before any possible booking.
    The first thing I noticed was the bad spelling mistakes on the pages.
    This more than convinced me not to use the company.

    My daughters party is supposed to be held this coming Saturday (22nd September). Today is Wednesday and I have received an automated email from APLUS Entertainment stating that if they do not receive payment they will cancel the booking. I actually made payment in full on the date I booked it (£290.00)! I have emailed them 4 times already telling them that I have made payment and called their 0870 number every day and have been on hold for at least 40 minutes every time. Unfortunately I ...

    In July I booked a Children's Disco & Magic Show for £185.
    Both Booking Fee (£50) and Balance (£135) were transferred within the Contracted timings.
    However, after moneys had been transferred I was notified that my booking had been cancelled. Since than, nothing and so I am about to start court proceedings. Do not go anywhere near this Web Site!

    I booked Aplus Entertainment for my wedding at the beginning of August. They took my money and failed to turn up. I have since not been able to get in touch with the company. All I get is a recorded message saying "the office is very busy but your call is important to us". It caused much distress to myself and my new husband.

    Aplus Entertainment said they would provide an entertainer, bouncy castle and face painter. They took the deposit, and after many phone calls, I got a phone call from the entertainer who was only given my number because I insisted on it. No bouncy castle or face painter came, and it ruined my daughters party.

    Aplus Entertainment did not turn up to my twin grand-children's fourth birthday party, which was their first party, as my daughter is a one parent family. There were 50 children invited! Aplus did not even let us know they weren't going to turn up.

    Aplus are a waste of time, I booked a party and had no contact with them for 3 months I then cancelled the party and had an email within 30 mintues which followed a phone call from the owner of Aplus telling me action would be taken if I cancelled as I would be breaking the contract I was so angry with him. He then said the DJ would phone within the hour which he did and he was a great guy who assured me he would be there I was not so sure at that point but gave him the beneifit of the doubt.

    Like others, I wish I had seen these reviews before I booked Aplus Entertainment, but most of the reviews here were written after.

    Again, like others, I paid the money and no entertainer showed up.

    Fortunately, I decided to take along my home PC, iTunes and 20,000 songs, so the kids still had a good time.
