Judging by other reviews, I guess I have been unlucky. I called up as I needed a broker for a buy to let mortgage. After my first chat, I was told I Sean M would be in touch within 24 hours to advise me of my options. 2 weeks later, no call back. I have called and left messages on 3 occasions, yet still not even the courtesy of returning my calls. A complete waste of my time. At least I have not been left stranded half way through the process, which would have been even worse. (read more)

It seems because I wasn't spending enough money on my house so I wasn't of that much interest to London and Country. Nothing but answer phone for weeks, unresponsive to emails (or at best selectively answering questions and avoiding the ones that would require work). Sending the wrong paper work through. Generally disappointed after reading such good reviews on here. Certainly would not recommend. (read more)

Going by the rest of the reviews on here it seems i have been unlucky. But the service for me was far to slow after taking 3 months to complete the paperwork i lost out on the purchase even know they were given a deadline. Most annoying part is they take around 2 to 3 days for them to reply to calls and emails which drags out the process. Would not use again. (read more)

The people at L&C are very reliable in regards to being able to keep in good contact throughout the proccess of the deal. I believe they found me the best deal they could. The only negative I would say is that the lender that L&C found for me insisted on using solicitors on "the pannel" which meant I could not use my local Solicitor. The lenders solicitors are twice the price of mine for the conveyancing work and still little additional charges are cropping up. (read more)

Initially I was met with skeptisim by the mortgage adviser, he did not come across as understanding of my change in circumstances and then at some points negative.
