Good Points: Knowledgeable
Honest
Friendly
Professional
Patient
Easy to contact
Bad Points: None for me
General comments: Having used London & Country's mortgage broking service, I have nothing but praise for them.
I made a total of 5 calls asking general mortgage questions to start with, then coming back with supplementary points, all of which were answered carefully and clearly. After spending hours myself trying to work out the best deal for a re-mortgage, I called again to say "this is what I can get, can you beat it?" They called back within 2 hours and basically said "No!"
They explained where they had looked, what they had looked for, assumptions they had made, comparisons they had done, and this is the point; despite the time and effort they had put in, there was absolutely no suggestion that I should change to one of their (profitable) products. They agreed that I had found the best deal, well done, hope to see you in a couple of years time.
It may seem strange to write a review about a company that has not been able to help me as such, but if you are looking for a new or re-mortgage, whether or not you know anything about how mortgages work, I recommend London & Country to you. I will, without doubt, contact them again when looking for my next re-mortgage.
