Good Points: Looks and feels good. once you do the fine tuning for the scope its good to go..
Bad Points: It needs to be co2 powered, bolt action, and use a clip to feed the pellets, it also should be a .22, the barrel should also be a few inches longer, and instead of 525fps it should be bumped up to 800ish. Or have another model made to look the same but come with the above upgrades..
General comments: Over all its a good gun and well worth the money spent on it, i would suggest this rifle to friends.

The Gamo Recon seems to be made fairly well and the barrel lock up is tight. Should have been an accurate plinker. The scope that comes with it is no good, the scope mounts slide and it doesn't come with a scope stop though it does come with a scope stop?? In saying that, it's not that accurate of course, I'd get some shots side by side then the POI would change after changing the scope to a 3x9x32 Bushnell.
Another problem was that I never could zero the scope, I ran out of right windage, ...
