    Have shot there a couple of times over the past two weeks. Good variety of targets although novices would be out of there depth on some stands

    £22.00 per hundred clays. You are allowed 10% ( ish ) for show birds and no birds. Bit exposed if the weather is nasty

    It's a 24 trap lay out ( 12 stands ). No manual trapping which ensures consistant targets

    Shoot 1/4 and 1/2 chokes in my opinion

    My review based on attending on - off for 3 years Flat layout with the addition of a high tower a raised stand and forklift tractor , you could set this up any where with flat ground !! its a shame its been there so long and no money has been spent ever !in winter you need full wet kit as theres a few stands in the grass which is rapidly turned to deep sloppy mud a change of boots is a must @ least ...Theres 12 stands of pairs the layout seems to get altered every 2-3 weeks i say altered as i ...

    A good shoot for beginners through to experts. The facility to shoot as many targets as you want as singles or doubles is excellent for practicing. Have a big fried egg and bacon sarnie at the end with a cup of tea - a grand morning out in the fresh air.

    Trap problems aside, nice friendly ground, owner a nice bloke, dodgy beef burgers! Not badly priced... Worth a punt...

    Don't know where Jim shot, but it doesn't sound like Blackpool. Clays are £22 per 100, not £11. Never been charged for no birds - we kept a record - never questioned.

    Ok ground poorly run when there obviously making $$ from over charging will we go back maybe on competition days Thats it !having said that if you go with the above in mind you may have fun ..
