Good Points: Good price, Friendly in the shop

General comments: Been shooting at North Wales Shooting School many years now and nothing seems to change, same traps in the same place firing the clays in the same direction week in week out.
Have recently started going to llandegla shooting groun and there is a lesson on how to change thing around EVERY week!

Attended North Wales Shooting school as a novice for the first time last week. I was highly impressed by the superb customer service in the gun shop. I then had my first shooting lesson. My instructor was wonderfully patient and even managed to get me to hit a few! The food in the cafe was excellent and on my return to the gun shop to pay the staff seemed genuinely interested in how I had got on. A fantastic facility run by first class people.

I have just returned to the sport after many years break and went back to North Wales Shooting School to purchase my third gun from them. I advice and service I recieved was as good as it was 32yrs ago. The instructors are superb and 2 months later I was into competition shooting. Its good to see good old customer service is still alive and kicking. I cant fault them, I just wish they ran competitions again.

This once top International shooting ground has sadly fallen by the wayside. For safety sake alone, there should be some supervision on the ranges. It was left to me (a CPSA qualified Instructor) to assist, who were, obviously novice shooters. I did not have a problem with this, but I had gone there with friends to have a relaxing afternoon, shooting clays.
I think the founder of the ground, Glynne Jones, would turn in his grave if he could see things there now.
