yamaha majesty 400cc. I do not own this bike as yes, I am 45 years young, I currently ride a suzuki hyabusa and prior to that a honda blackbird, but thats serious biking, and to be honest a little too much fuss and a sure licence looser these days, I am considering the majesty 400 becuse I want less fuss, more economical, with enough power to handle the odd motorway stint, and unlike the Busa; I wont mind leaving the majisty out in the rain, I wont feel the need to constantly clean it!!and I feel it less likly to be stollen. I did note that the pillion seat is particually wide and reaching the rear foot rests difficult for my 10 year old son who rides with me regually, a slight modification may be nessassary to comply with pilion leagallity! all in all I think its a great looking motorbike/scooter and the simplicity of twist and go I am sure will be a delight, I am concerned about the power not being enough given my current ride but from what i read i am hopefull to be a little supprised. happy biking ..

Bought a 5,000 mile 2005 Yamaha Majesty 400 about two months ago with the intention of visiting relatives in Sweden. I live in the UK.

The round trip was just about 2,5000 miles including a bit of sightseeing in Stockholm. The bike was faultless. Never missed a beat, even when thrashed down German Autobahns at 80+mph for hours on end. All my clothes, luggage etc fitted under the seat and in the gloveboxes. And the oil, when checked on my return, was still full and totally clear. If I could on ...

Have a 09' Majesty 400 and LOVE IT. Went on a ride today 10/12/09 from Fullerton, - Laguna Hills, Irvine, Orange back to Fullerton, end in Chino Hills a good 90+ mile ride. Was the only scooter amongst Harley's, Victorys, etc. Everyone was surprised at the speed of my Majesty. Some other people could not believe all the room I got, especially when they saw my SHAD 46 top case. For my 1st ride will never forget this day. As well how my Majesty performed!
The Majesty could use a 650. Whenever it d ...

The Majesty is definitely a step through motorcycle more than a "scooter". Strong engine yields good acceleration at a moderate RPM. Disc brakes are more than sufficient for a bike this size. Underseat storage may be roomy but it is oddly shaped and my modular type helmet doesn't fit anywhere under there. Have put on 2K in about three months with no problems at all. Left side air filter is fairly dirty/oily after 2k and needs replacing already. Recommend cutting out the OEM filter from the ...

After 2300 Km cant say anything bad about the Yamaha Majesty. I would highly recommend to anyone at any age. This is a well thought out motor cycle. Although called a scooter as others suggest it is much more than that. It handles extremely well in city and on highway. Its acceleration is excellent, its top end I still have not hit with lots of power left at 120 kmph. It is fuel efficient anywhere from 60 average city and highway to over 70 highway at moderate speeds of 80-100 kmph.Centre stands ...

I have a 2007 Yamaha Majesty 400 which I bought in 2008 with 66 miiles on it. Great looking scooter which is very stable under you in all conditions. I have averaged about 60 MPG in metro traffic. I already have 1,000 fun filled miles. I ride it everywhere. I feel comfortable in traffic. It is a joy on winding roads.

I had a Yamaha 250 Majesty and it needed power. Now I have a Majesty 400 2007 and I think there is nothing better than it. I live in a Caribbean Island. I use it everyday under different conditions, even under the rain. It has been near the sea for 8 month now and there is no sign of corrosion or anything like it.

I purchased a 2007 Yamaha Majesty for my wife last summer. My dealer told me I would be back to buy one of my own. I laughed stating I would not ride a "scooter" especially having a cruiser in the garage. The Yamaha Magesty is flawless in every area and FAST! I quickly found myself riding it more often than my cruiser. Well, my dealer was right. I now have my silver Majesty parked next to my wife's red one. I now need a bigger garage.

We have a small motorcycle shop and have had a few Majesties come in and out. I have been riding everything on two wheels for over 35 years. With the gas prices escalating, we started looking at scooters as an alternative to commuter motorcycles and automobiles. I am very familiar with the Yamaha product, and was not disappointed with the quality of the Majesty. I've put a few hundred miles on the scooters (a shame to call it a scooter, it is much more), and have had a blast riding them around. ...

I have a fair amount of riding experience, though this Yamaha Majesty 400 is my first maxi-scooter. I did a lot of research and had high expectations of this machine. Originally, I was interested in a Burgman 400. However I had an opportunity to buy a 2006 Yamaha Majesty with 600 miles (950 km) for a good price.

Overall, it met my expectations. It is well laid out, easy to use, comfortable and very capable (I have had no vibration issues with this machine).

Power - I rode it home the first ...

Overall, I love this scooter. I have replaced the windshield with a much larger one from Italy online by Givi. It was only about $150.00 delivered. Ss compared to the Yamaha touring shield at $330.00 at the dealer!

I am a 55 year old, lifelong biker and I found this scooter to be as much fun and as capable as any bike I have owned at half the price as most of them.

This is my first motorbike or scooter of any type, apart from the minibike I rode as a kid. I undertook a great deal of research before purchasing the Majesty 400. The nearest alternative I considered was the Piaggio X9 500, however the patchy quality revealed on this and other websites steered me away from that bike. The Yamaha TMax 500 has received some great reviews and sounds excellent in terms of additional performance, however the A$3,000 extra for the TMax can't really be justified in the ...

I purchased the Yamaha Majesty 400 from new. I wanted it as a commuter and general run-about, rather than using my bigger bikes. I normally travel 70 miles return journey twice a week.

After the first week, I noticed that there was an awful lot of vibration being emitted through the handlebars, seat and runnerboards. I reported it to the dealership and followed their recommendations. After the first service, I was expecting the vibration to ease. It didn't. By this time, I was suffering sever ...

I had a Yamaha Zuma 50 cc, a first bike, before I got my Yamaha Majesty 400. Great Scott, that thing was fun!! Within a short time I was all over town, and beyond, day and night, the fun just would not stop!!! Soon, I was running into limitations....43mph top end meant a lot of highways were out of the question...still, with careful route planning, a few country trips were done. In town, traffic could be dealt with easily, but on faster moving suburban streets, I was in the right hand lane hangi ...
