    Good Points: Hardly any. This airport is over-designed in the most horrible way. Not enough run-ways. Not enough flights to anywhere or from anywhere. The only thing I can say is that once you get passed the airport experience, the city (Seattle) is great.


    Bad Points: Terminals are separated totally unnecessarily.
    An underground tram takes you from one place to another, complicating baggage pick-up on arrival or departure and slowing you down. But get this; there are only a handful of terminals in any one place. Why did they think they needed a train?
    Parking structure is a monstrosity with more concrete in it than the Hoover Dam. Horrible to get in and out.
    Ugly, ugly, ugly on the inside, with small spaces and low oppressive ceilings. Painted dark so it looks even gloomier (in this crazy rainy climate, totally inexplicable).


    General comments: Tacoma International Airport in Seattle is probably the ugliest airport in the country, inside and out, but whatever you do, don't use the airport parking garage. It is incredibly expensive, and to boot very inconvenient in terms of actual access to either departures or baggage. It is amazing that someone actually planned this place. No wonder Boeing executives moved to Chicago! This airport is an embarrassment to an otherwise lovely (though quirky) city.
