We are a non-profit charity that works internationally. We have stock, online/offline sale, provide services, hire part time contractors and full time staff. Accounting is normally a bit of a headache if you're not 'into it'... but we love it know!! Kashflow has made life easier (and cheaper!). I have found Kashflow easy to set and use. The free trial period of 60 days gives you a real chance to test the suitability of the software before you buy and I think the monthly subscription is great. I especially like the layout of the reports and the real time view of bank accounts, profit and loss etc are a real bonus.

For 4 years now we have been battling on with inappropriate, complicated user unfriendly software, that was also expensive. Our initial reason for looking for a new software was price driven as we felt that there must be a less expensive option for our business. We stumbled accross Kashflow with a Google Search and were initially attracted by the price. We then signed up for a trial, which we ran alongside our existing software. We were bowled over by the simplicity of Kash Flow, the user friendly, the "non accountant speak" used and the additional features that it had. We soon realised that Kash Flow far outstripped our existing software by far and was incredible value for money. I also feel far more "in control" of my business, as at a glance i can see very simply, not only the profitability of the business, but up to date cash flow figures and graphs, which is very important to a business such as ours that is growing very quickly. Our external accountants have also sung Kash Flows praises since we changed, so all in all a glowing report. We can not recommend this software enough. We run a medium sized gardening business turning over approx 300K per year, we have been doing our own accounts with spreadsheets etc. for the last 8 years. I have looked into buying accounts packages before, and have used sage in previous jobs, but not being an accounts person always found them a bit confusing... from the format to the language used. It got to the stage where our accounts were taking up a large amount of our time, eating into the time we could be generating new work, managing existing work, improving our own business tools, doing our hair, brushing the dog actually pretty much anything would have felt like more fun! Invoicing was such a chore I used to loathe the thought of the end of the month coming up and the inevitable boring hours it took to get the invoicing out. Kashflow (and my only negative has to be the name, sorry guys but a bit NAFF like Chloe spelt Kloey) has totally revolutionized my accounting life, it is soooo easy to understand (they've de-jargonised it, no more words like ledger hooray!) user friendly and the way that it's set up means my invoicing and accounts take about 1/8 of the time they took before. I really do love the product! I had an issue with not being able to understand how to change something on an invoice I emailed to enquire and within 10 minutes had a full and detailed response, from an actual person not an irritating link to frequently asked questions page. As a business person, I completely appreciate the time and effort that has gone into making cash-flow a truly exceptional product, well done! and thank you, now cannot imagine accounting without it. I have used kashflow for a couple of years now and have experienced nothing but good attitude. for a non-accountibg person it is really easy to use and allows you to produce professional, meaningful reports. They are very open to critique and will adapt and change if they are able to. You are able to scan and save information thus allowing your accountant to remotely do your accounts without the need of taking away your papers. This is excellent as I have had experiences of accounts losing some paperwork.

KashFlow is definitely for the small business owner that has no accountancy knowledge.
Everything is so straight foward, and when you do have a problem all you do is raise a support ticket, which then gets answered in no time at all (I got mine answered in 6 minutes).
They are adding upgrades all the time. For instance they have just added multi currency.
Their support is quick and friendly, and the system is very very easy to use.

I tried to use Sage but found the package is obviously written by accountants for accountants. Kashflow helps me keep right up to date with my business finances easily and quickly. It also allows me to track all customers and the cost of sales along with producing invoices. You can also email the invoice with a PayPal or Credit Card button so you can get paid quicker. This package is brilliant and it's a lot cheaper than Sage.

I've spent so much time and money looking for simple accounting software I could actually use. I'm so glad I found the KashFlow Accounting Software 1 product!

It's web based, so there is always the worry that your (or their) internet connection might fail. Although it's never happened to me so far.
