    Good Points: Intuitive, easy to pickup, great for new businesses with little accounts knowledge.


    Bad Points: Suseptable to internet outage, requires rock-solid computer security, not as comprehensive as Sage. Expensive.


    General comments: Sadly there are many people here that get bad advise from their accountants! Kashflow looks very good at face value, I have reservations about the "online" status of it, it only takes one internet outage for the system to be rendered completly useless. With regards pricing - someone said it was cheaper than Sage? This is simply wrong. Kashflow - £215.88 per year, Sage Instant Accounts - £100.00 forever. Add a small charge for your accountant training you how to use it and it works out MUCH cheaper. this system seems a bit gimicky, for those slating accountants and Sage - change your accountant not your software :)

    What I really like about KashFlow Accounting Software 1 is that it is so simple to use and the fact that it is online means I can log in from anywhere. I've tried all sorts of packages (including Sage) but found them very difficult. Another really good feature is the ability to send invoices or reminders by ViaPost which means no need to print off an invoice and post - it does it all for you! You can also email direct from the programme.

    KashFlow is definitely for the small business owner that has no accountancy knowledge.
    Everything is so straight foward, and when you do have a problem all you do is raise a support ticket, which then gets answered in no time at all (I got mine answered in 6 minutes).

    They are adding upgrades all the time. For instance they have just added multi currency.
    Their support is quick and friendly, and the system is very very easy to use.

    The pricing - I don't see how this can compare to other software that you would install on your desktop. You're continually paying for this service, I'd much prefer a one off fee.

    What if there service becomes unavailable, not sure about having my accounts online!

    Very restrictive invoicing template system in my opinion.Generous trial period, but won't be taking out a subscription at £192 a year.

    I have found this to be the easiest system that I have ever used for keeping records. I have just recommended this package to a passing customer who was very eager to go back to his workplace and log in.

    I tried to use Sage but found the package is obviously written by accountants for accountants. Kashflow helps me keep right up to date with my business finances easily and quickly. It also allows me to track all customers and the cost of sales along with producing invoices. You can also email the invoice with a PayPal or Credit Card button so you can get paid quicker. This package is brilliant and it's a lot cheaper than Sage.

    After wrestling with Sage for a few years, too complicated for the sole trader etc, KAshFlow is ideal as long as one realises it is not a final accounts package. It is a very simple and easy to use book keeping programme. A business will still need to employ an accountant for end of year purposes, but at least the information is presented in the correct format, ultimately saving one's hard earn cash ending up in the hands of the accountancy profession.

    I've spent so much time and money looking for simple accounting software I could actually use. I'm so glad I found the KashFlow Accounting Software 1 product!

    It is incredibly easy to use, and you get a 60 day free, no obligation trial.

    It's web based, so there is always the worry that your (or their) internet connection might fail. Although it's never happened to me so far.
