This has been a long awaited film ever since I saw School of Rock. On the first night I had available I went to see it. It started of promising for a whole 6 or 7 seconds before you realised just how bad this film was. It started with a young JB at home and how he was tossed aside from an early age for his love of rock by his father how was played by the excellent Meatloaf.
On JB's quest for rock n roll he travels to LA where he meets Kyle busking on the streets and after a lot of toing and froing they become good friends and form a band. With the rent on the flat almost running out they decide to enter a rock off for a cash prize. In order to win they believe that they need to rediscover the myth of the 'pick of destiny' and go on a road trip to get it back.
The film is as bad as it sounds and only struggled a very few laughs. This was a disappointment and I could not recommend this to anyone.

This film does have a few good laughs, although these are mostly pilfered from the back catalogue of songs and videos. The movie lets itself down with a weak plot about stealing a pick from Satan.
