Good Points: Had the house I wanted on their books
Bad Points: Unhelpful
General comments: I saw the house I wanted and put in an offer through the Fishponds branch. The manager promised that he would pass this offer the same day to the seller.
He came back to me saying that they would only accept a higher offer, but I found out later by talking with the seller that he never put the first offer to them.
During the process, he often said that things were progressing well, but no progress was made. He then accused us of delaying and blamed our solicitors, and then started blaming the seller!
After we talked direct with the seller things started to move!
I would never choose to buy through House & Co estate agents again, but if the house you want is on their books, what choice do you have?
