    Good Points: Small.
Unbelievable battery life even using the flash.
    10.1 mega pixel.
Can be used by anyone, it's just so simple to point and shoot.
Rear screen works even in sunlight.

Bad Points: Terrified of dropping it as there is no protection.
You have to get the rear screen at just the right angle to see it.
No way of 'locking' it in to a particular setting so it defaults each time it's turned off.
The enclosed software is very basic and pictures are viewed and filed under Internet Explorer which refuses to open a picture because of security protocols x2 each time which makes my blood boil every time I use it.
Needs the docking station to be able to charge it.

General comments: Hopefully I've said it all above, I know it's expensive but it is worth it. I gave my Casio Exilim EX Z1000 (black) to the misses to take on holiday after owning for just 2 days beforehand. She can't even work the DVD player but found this camera very easy to use with its automatic point and shoot feature (with auto flash as well).

As soon as you plug the docking station into the computer and switch it on, Windows will recognise what it is and get it working. If you're at all worried about unusable technical equipment then this camera is for you, but if you do like putting stuff into manual mode so you can experiment (film + shutter speed, exposure, etc). then this camera will appeal to you also, as it does the lot.

You do need at least a 1gig card, anything smaller is a waste of time. If you're thinking of buying a spare battery, be careful as they come in different sizes (amp hrs), and I'd like to see some sort of 'gel' case just to help protect the corners from damage, it doesn't ship with a case, just a flimsy wrist strap that I don't trust.

One last point, you can't charge the camera in the car, 240v only and you need the docking station so if you're away for the weekend, you have to take camera, station and power supply.

    Happy snapping,

    Nick
