Good Points: Price, flip-face - if that is what you want, ease of getting on and off with glasses
Bad Points: Very noisy at highway speeds with significant wind buffeting
General comments: I bought my M2R 901 Flip-Face helmet about 6 months ago when I started riding and it has served me well over that time. However, I have just upgraded to a more expensive HJC AC-10 full-face and the noise and comfort improvement at 100kph is a night and day comparison!
The M2R 901 is an excellent economy helmet that is suitable for lower speed commuting and especially where the convenience of a flip-up helmet is a desired feature. I found it very easy to get on and off with my glasses and this is why I initially went for a flip-face helmet.
However, as soon as I started doing some touring at 100kph plus, I found that the M2R was very noisy and I had to wear ear plugs to make it bearable. Of course, wearing ear plugs is recommended for all helmets when touring so I still wear them with my new helmet. I also found that the M2R helmet seemed to suffer from wind buffeting around the head, certainly more than I experience with the HJC AC-10.
So, in summary, I would recommend the M2R for regular commuting at up to 60-70kph, when the convenience of a flip-face is what you want but definitely not for touring at higher speeds.
