Maxim X share the confort of a cruiser with the powerful engine 4 cylinder 5 valves each. I love my ride.

Handily outperforms most sport racing style bikes in that distance. Top speed around 140 MPH. I had mine over 135 on several occasions with little effort and no handling problems.

The Yamaha FJ700X Maxim X is a comfortable cruiser with sport bike speed. Why these two ever parted ways is beyond me. This bike was at the pinnacle of the muscle bike era until the V-max took over. I never got a V-max because they were too ugly for me. I bought this one to replace my 1982 650 maxim.
