Good Points: Good location Great food Good service
Bad Points: I can't think of any
General comments: We have stayed at different Premier Travel Inns in the past, and we have never had cause for complaint. Our latest visit was to the York city centre hotel.
The hotel is in a good location, only 5 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes from York Minster and York's other attractions. The staff at the hotel are pleasant and helpful, and the rooms are as usual, clean, comfortable and well equipped, and they also have the largest and most comfortable king size bed that I have ever come across in any hotel, either in the UK or abroad.
The food in this hotel in particular is excellent and worth every penny. Be it breakfast or evening meal, it is way above what you would expect in a so-called budget hotel.
This hotel has a large and lively pub virtually next door, so you don't have to travel far for your night time entertainment. The hotel also has plenty of free car parking.
Overall, we would definitely visit this hotel again, and when you consider the price of other hotels in the area, then this one is a bargain. Whoever calls this a budget hotel must be having a laugh. Enjoy your stay.
