Good Points: Looks, playability and the sound. This is a great investment for an inexpensive bass!

    Bad Points: None.

General comments: I felt comfortable playing the bass and enjoy the sound I get out of it. For those of you who think a big price tag = a good bass, this is your wake up call. I have 10 basses, 3 of them over $ 1,500.00 a piece. But I'm taking the T-Bird to the gig.

Don't hesitate, I did for moment then I changed my mind & I did not regret it. If [Twiggy Ramirez of Marilyn Manson] played a [Thunderbird Bass] then why not I!

The Epiphone Thunderbird IV looks good but it's a bit heavy. It's a good all round bass for the price range.

It freaking rocks, the tone is great, you can get muddy tones to the brightness of a p bass. It's great. Huge neck dive, and not so good with slapping. I love it.

Great feel, great tone but too expensive for a kid who wants a nice bass. Best bass ever.

Overall it is a great bass for the money. Solid. Never goes out of tune. Sunburst is beautiful. Great finish. I had to adjust the bridge slightly to my own liking, but other than that, it was well set up. I also put slinky's on it. Overall, well worth the $279 american.

The Epiphone Thunderbird IV bass guitar looks good, and it sounds good with every amp I've used with it. The reverse body makes playing the 15th fret and lower a bit difficult. It comes with neck dive (I put a new strap pin in where they come on a Gibson, and now it's fine).

It is a brilliant bass. Go and buy one, especially if you want to put some new pickups in it.
