    My AC does not work and Geico Car Insurance will not cover it. The damage that was done is not within the scope of the exclusions on this policy, which has a $250 deductible. They are trying to tell me that because something hit it, possibly a rock (which can not be proved) it is considered a collision and will cost me my $500 deductible...

    Geico car insurance has always been good to me over the years that I have been involved with them. In 1996 I had an accident. My truck was totaled. the very next day I had a check from them. It was my fault. I was on probation for 3 years. My policy hardly went up at all. After that I had a clean record and my priemems went back down.     I insured with Geico for years. After retiring my mileage dropped dramatically but my premiums didn't. I decided to go with another company that beat Geico significantly in price and coverage. Geico then pulled a stunt by calling my wife and asking if we had gone with another company. When she told them we had, they asserted that they had continued to cover us beyond the time we had paid for knowing we had not filed a claim.     I have written an ode to geico to show how much I love them- Geico, how can I tell you, how much you mean to me. With your low rates,and your great policy. You respond quickly when needed, and your reps are the best. You will not find better insurance, in the north, south, east or west. You are the best no matter where I look, when it comes to the best insurance, Geico you wrote the book.

    I was involved in a car accident 4 years ago while with Hartford insurance (which was a great company to deal with by the way), and I was 0% at fault, and it was determined that the other driver was 100% at fault. A year later, I was a secondary insured driver on a GEICO policy. After GEICO, I switched back to Hartford.     I think Geico is not there for the customer. My job position was eliminated and I did not have the money to pay for one month only!, I have been with them since 1991, and asked for a one week break. They would not budge or offer to at least give me a week. They insisted on some form of payment which I did not have. I really pleaded my case.     I cant stand companies that have stupid and annoying commercials. I refuse to use or buy any product that does this. Geico is one of the worst when it comes to stupid and annoying commercials. I mute or change the channel every time one of Geico's come on.

    I had a hit by a Geico insured person on 6-25-07. After 17 days I still had not heard from them. I left messages with the claims adjustor and supervisors, and no one would call me back. I finally received an estimate for my total damage, and the amount was approx $2,000 less than I can replace it for with the same like/kind vehicle. I think everyone with these claims problems should contact the Missouri Insurance Commission.

    If you have their car insurance and you have an accident...if you total your car or truck...before you sign your title over to them, make sure you get your personal effects out of your car or truck before you sign the title over. I had an accident and totalled my truck, and Geico promised me that I could get my stuff from my truck, and I, like a fool, signed the title and never saw my personal things, which added up to $850.     Though Geico have less expensive payments may lure you in, keep looking. They don't help you at all. If something happens, they won't fight for you.

    They are not offering insurance to people on IDP (International Driving Permit) which is recognised by DMV, but not by these people. Geico car insurance are completely useless!

    My brother-in-law had car insurance with Geico for almost 7 years. His payment was late for October, so they cancelled his policy and told him they were sending his money back because it was late, and he would have to re-establish his coverage at a higher rate.     Fortunately I never had to file a claim with Geico car insurance, because if they can't even provide a decent, accurate and consistent quote, how will they process my claim? I have had Geico before, and then when I tried to purchase it again several years later, I find something as simple as getting a quote and for them to adhere to that quote was difficult for them. They also do not provide the lowest quotes, and they cannot compete with other insurance companies as they claim.
