    Good Points: Razor sharp picture and the sound is clear and powerful.


    Bad Points: Image can be slightly "fuzzy".


    General comments: This Philips DVD622/37 is simply a superb DVD player for the money, considering it has progressive scan, and plays any DVD disc format. The picture is very clear, and colours are natural. Sound is bright, punchy and defined.

    My only small complaint is that when the DVD player's sharpness (under its system menu) is set to high, the image can be fuzzy, but the image really is sharp enough on low. I believe this only happens when used with a small TV, say 15" and when used with bigger TV's there will be no "fuzzy" picture, simply because there are more pixels on a bigger TV. This way the image would be superb!
