    I have a shop hosted by Strato, I have had problems each month for the last three months. Twice the shop was unavailable, and once Strato lost all my e mail addresses. Each time I have rung the technical department they have had problems correcting the faults, and I have been given the runaround for over a week, with different stories. Their service is the worst I have experienced in a long time, not helped, by the fact that they have no technical staff at work weekends. Dont use them as a provider unless you have to.

    Really really poor! The worst host I've ever used.

    I cancelled my account with Strato and received a confirmation letter that it has been set-up to be automatically cancelled at the end of the contract; so I thought nothing more to this and just set out for a new host.
    Time come and all I got was a payment request. I asked them and they said I hadn't cancelled in time though I'd done in 3 months prior and have the confirmation. They ignored this and still demand the money.

    I found the customer services to be really unhelpful.
    Slow servers in my experience.
    Bringing in debt collectors to sort out problems rather than answering emails as far as I am concerned.
    I personally do not recommend this web hosting company.

    Strato are possibly the worst hosts I have personally ever come across.

    I have been with Strato for the past on year. They have been repeatedly slow to respond to my e-mails and letters.They threatened me with court despite having cancelled my account with them.My experience with Strato web hosting has been very poor and I thoroughly recommend that you do not register with this company and pay a little more and go with a USA or UK company.

    Poor service. The functions available are limited, hard to use control panel, hardly any DNS services to manage domains.I opened several accounts with them on their offer for £1. I then asked to close one account to move it to a host with more features, it took them 8 months to switch the domain which turned out to be the wrong one! I contacted them again and I've not yet had a reply. I had to contact Nominet and change it myself.I later asked to close all my accounts to have them switche ...

    Unhelpful customer service been on phone now for like 2 hours as far as I am aware. There trying to charge me twice for 3 month payments I believe.Not yet as far as I am aware received a password from them in 8 months therefore do not recommend strato hosting.co.uk

    I tried to sign up for their 12 months hosting for £1 deal and transfer my existing domain name across but the whole procedure turned out to be a nightmare - they sent me a form which I had to print out and rescan along with some form of ID such as a passport and then fax back to them.

    That was fine but then they emailed me for an AUTH CODE which I emailed back - unfortunately they didn't say that the email address they send emails out from you can reply to but no one ever reads it. The ...

    They offer good packages! Everything is there.

    Strato also have free customer service, and they are very helpful!

    I was looking for a middle level web hosting package, and I found an appropriate package for £6.99 with Strato - 3 inclusive domains, blog, website building kit, some scripts and more stuff included.

    The domain connection was quite fast, and support quite friendly.
