    Good Points: The food was fantastic, with freshly cooked soups every day and plenty of it, and the puddings were great.
    The chalets were very cosy and well decorated.
    Run by an English family, with friendly Bulgarian staff to help us enjoy our holiday.


    Bad Points: The slopes were better for beginners and intermediates, but not so good for advanced skiers.
    Food in Borovets was not very good at lunch times (typically Bulgarian).


    General comments: The Iskar Chalet Hotel in Borovets, Bulgaria is an excellent choice for a family holiday, and very good value for money. Good fun and relaxed atmosphere, and we felt very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Having our skis fitted on the night of arrival at the chalets and our own ski instructors meant that we didn't need to join the large queues in the resort.
