Hi all!

I've never written a review before but after the service I received from Ocado I felt I must!!

I registered on the website and immediately bought some cigarettes (weird purchase I know but in my own way it actually saves me money getting them this way - no buying magazines and chocolate everyday when I'm queuing in the supermarket!!)

The thing is when I registered I mistakenly put a wrong house number on my form - so therefore ordered my goods to go to the house two doors down! I tried to rectify my order straight away, but since I had already placed it and booked a delivery slot that was so near I understandably couldn't change my details.

I rang up the customer service line and a very nice fella confirmed I couldn't change my details whilst an order was open. He did say that he could make a note to the delivery driver though to let him know my correct address. I then explained to him that my neighbours were mostly elderly and hoped that the driver wouldn't miss his note and knock on the wrong door anyway (I'd boked a 9.30 pm - 10.30 pm delivery slot). This guy then told me that as he was on the late shift he would call the delivery driver before my time slot to remind him!

I just thought this was so nice and thought I'd share with you all! :-)

Also when I booked my time slot I could have chosen pretty much any hour I wanted! It even lets you know when the driver is in your area so you can 'go green' and book that slot! My goods arrived (on time!) and the delivery driver was very friendly.

Sorry if I've rambled a bit but, as I said, it's my first review and I was so impressed! Hope it makes sense x

Last two times used Ocado food was delivered squashed or leaking. Customer services really unhelpful. Delivery late but all you get is free delivery. I would rather have food delivered in a useable state and when they say the delivery will be made.

I have used Ocado for several years now and I would say that the service has improved quite considerably in that time. In the early days there were problems with quite a few out of stock items. However, this is rarely the case now. The website is easy to navigate and there are numerous ideas and recipes in addition to the products to order. Deliveries are always on time and some times earlier than booked. If there are any delivery problems the drivers usually let you know. The drivers themselves ...

I have used Ocado three times now and so far so good. The website is easy to use and once you have done the initial arduos bit of finding the things you normally buy, you can store your shopping lists so it's much easier to pick and choose next time round and actually the more you use the site the easier it is of course to navigate your way round and find what you want. Ocado was really good to begin with and efficient but when it came to an order being placed on the Thursday before Easter for delivery on Good Friday, the order never turned up. When we contacted the customer service team, they were extremely rude and unhelpful and it was only after an hour and ten minutes of discussion that the matter was resolved. The best hands down! since the month the company started--hardly a complaint and when I have I call and get the best service in the country- wonderful service and staff and exactly what I order 99% of the time - completely happy customer.

No hassle shopping with accurate delivery times and mobile texts to remind you. Empty plastic bags from previous week(s) collected. Cheerful and helpful delivery staff.

I've used Ocado for some years now, originally alternating with Tesco, then more frequently. However. I've recently noticed a real problem with their use by dates and despite complaints have had no positive response from Ocado yet. I had moved back to Tesco but Ocado then emailed round stating that they were now including minimum life information on their website so I tried them again last week. A very green company using bio-diesel in their vans and recyling all the carrier bags you give back to them. Overall a fantastic company I will never do my shopping at any other supermarket.

I would advise you don't order more food from Ocado than you can eat in 2-3 days as it'll be past it's sell by date before you can get to it. If I was elderly and unable to get to a store then this would be great ...but as you'd need to get them to come every other day I would be skint. Good if you're having a big party and need the food delivered... that's about it.

When I first started to us Ocado they were good, life span was ok, things arived, driver polite.
Now that I have used them for some time the driver seems rushed, items are wrong, best before dates are unacceptably short. And it is a complete hassle as I have to call them and all they do is refund so I still have to go to the shop, which defeats the object of having it all delivered in the first place. Have just received my first ocado delivery after using tesco for some years. Great quality and service cheaper delivery no subs or out of stock items pleased to place second order, after cancelling my tesco order.
Website easy to use -text reminders very useful driver friendly and helpful colour coded bags very useful.

The Ocado online supermarket has a great selection. The service is easy to use, and they offer good service. A polite delivery man phoned to ask if they could come early!

Their service is great. You can have your delivery at any time of the day, but they will let you know if another delivery is taking place in your area, so you can see if you can tie in on the same day - bit for the environment (I know they obviously save money too, but I'd rather believe their positive comment about the environment).

Ocado use logic - so rare in supermarkets - when bagging your food. All frozen goods in one bag, fridge stuff in another. As I'm time poor, this saves me just a ...

I cannot fault Ocado, having used them for my home shopping delivery for a couple of years now. The delivery drivers are always helpful and in all that time (usually a fortnightly delivery) they have only been 10 minutes late on a couple of occasions (and the driver telephoned to inform me of such in advance). The website is easy to use and loads quickly. I previously used Asda and there is no comparison - Ocado wins hands down. The prices are a bit higher than some other supermarket chains ...

We started Using Tesco's services a good few years ago and this was when the home delivery service was very new, and it was terrible, on many occasions you would receive someone elses shopping! Comparing Tesco, Sainsbury and Ocado, I must say that Ocado wins hands down. It can be pricey (I did a comparison of products, and I paid £8 more, shopping with Ocado, than if I were shopping with Tesco), but Waitrose vs. Tesco, well I'd go for Waitrose quality anytime. Also, if you buy over £75 worth of products at Ocado, you get free delivery, so the price difference really is negligible. I have been using Ocado for some months now and I am really impressed with their service. The website is really easy to use, they hardly ever deliver the wrong stuff, the drivers are really frienly and helpful and if things do go wrong (which they very rarely do), they are more than generous in sorting it out.

I tried Ocado, as I was unable to get out to the local supermarket. I found the website easy to use and I was able to find out whether what I wanted was in stock, or not and an alternative was available.

The online basket kept me informed of what I had ordered and showed the discount for special offers.

The Ocado delivery was fantastic, the driver rang and asked if it was okay to deliver early. When he arrived he took all the shopping into the kitchen, explained the bag system to me. As ...
