It's hard to find, even to envision, a car seat for dogs that will boost it, that's attractive, and relatively safe for the dog to use. The lookout is held to the car seat by the lap part of the seat belt, and a strap, like a leash, hooks from the seat belt to a harness of your doggy. Looks great in the car, easy to put in and take out, washable cover. (read more)

I found this review not helpful because...I don't really care how good it looks in the car, I'd like to read about their experience in actually using it.

You need to choose your Snoozer Lookout Dog Car Seat size carefully. This is not a point and click buy. Some websites are very thorough in giving information about the sizes/models. Most are not. Visit those with the name Snoozer in their website and you will usually get the best advice as they are perfect for boosting small dogs to see out the car window, and it is nice looking, easy to put in or take out of the car. I found this review somewhat helpful because..it gave good advice about checking sizes but didn't give any comments on actual personal use of this seat; for instance does the dog find it restricting, what size suited their dog, did it get used to it quickly etc.
