    Good Points: Epilation at a salon over a period of time results in permanent hair removal. Imagine never having to shave you underarm or wax your bikini line ever again!


    Bad Points: Ok, so it might not be ideal for those needle haters out there, but as a needle phobic myself, I can say that this treatment is not painful or uncomfortable. It is fascinating!


    General comments: Epilation equals permanent hair removal. A tiny short needle is inserted into each hair follicle and is zapped with with either heat or a type of safe chemical (or both, depending) causing the hair to detach from its blood supply and if caught at the right time in the cycle, leads to the hair never growing back! This method of hair removal is ideal for small areas including eyebrows, lip and chin and even hairs in the nostrils and in the ears. There are many precautions though, so make sure you check them out!
