    Good Points: This really is a great series, and I hope it is shown again and again, or released on DVD. I would certainly buy numerous copies as Christmas presents, as well as one for myself!


    Bad Points: It is on television on a weekend morning, which is not the best time. Can it not be shown on the BBC, CITV or CBeebies after school?


    General comments: The Secret of Eel Island actually contains REAL actors and REAL animals. It is a fantastic story, which has been beautifully filmed and cast. A tremendous credit to the creators of such a wonderful story. My children (ages 11, 9 and 5) all absolutely love it, and I have to admit I love to sit and watch it with them. Not only because it is a wonderful story, but it's great to share it with the kids and enjoy their reactions to it whilst I sup my cup of tea!! I can't wait for the next series starting in 2007. Look out for it!!!
