They did a good job, until they broke something on my house and although they said they'd fix it and make it right... They just ghosted me. They replied when I said I'd be interested in new windows and doors as well, but as soon as I said I'd like the soffit/fascia job made right first they literally just ghosted me... They don't do customer service, they don't care. The lads that came to so the work didn't even bring their own bottled water when it was hot outside... Demanding me to keep them hydrated. This is pretty unprofessional. Obviously I was happy to give them water but a big company like Anglian should think about these things first and at least bring something to drink. It's basic. This company is ridiculous.

Disappointing customer service. During the sale you are promised one thing and after paying for your order it appears there are no records of that and you have to pay for extra keys from your own pocket. Communication with the management doesn't solve the problems.

I had my windows done less than ten years and when I had them fitted I was told my guarantee was for ten years so when I had a Anglian representative come round to give me a quote for facias I asked the representative can you please check and confirm when my windows guarantee runs out as we have issues with all of our windows and the one I was most concerned about was my disabled son's bedroom window he checked and said that we was still in guarantee but when I called recently I was told different, I have googled when Anglian windows guarantee runs out and it says ten years, and also I watched the one show and watch dog was on and it mentioned a lot of Anglian windows customers have the same issues I am not very impressed this company

The engineer who visited when we wanted a conservatory was probably just a salesperson. After visiting, we had questions sent by email and discovered they aren't interested in communication. Some of the information the salesperson gave us about Building Regulations was probably wrong. The cost of a conservatory seemed exhoribant to us. They give customers incentives in the form of 'discounts' for reviews on Trustpilot. That's no doubt why Trustpilot rates this company so highly.

After using Anglian previously having used Safestyle I will not be returning for a second purchase. Absolutely painful process to deal with them throughout. Littered with delays and missed appointments. Issues with installation and customer service are utterly incompetent and non responsive. DO NOT USE

Poor aftercare service. Have has a door seal tear within 6 months of fitting, "engineer", came July 2020 to see the issue, been back once Sept 2020 with wrong seal, We are now in Dec 2020 cold draft comes through worse than replacement door previously and no replacement seal yet. No update no nothing. Call you regular to sell you the package and then silence after install. Poor quality product too from years ago. Been going down hill for about 15 yrs.

we were rushed by Anglian sales representative to place an order. He didn't give us time to think and we were told we had to sign on the day or the price would double. As well as this, the rep didn't have any samples of windows or doors to show us. After signing the contract five days later I cancelled it. So now it has been over two weeks and still waiting for my deposit back. Stay away from Anglian windows and doors!!!

I had a patio door installed. The rep did not let me read the contract before signing, this became relevant later. The day came the installation team arrived late, it was their last job of the day, and all they wanted was to finish asap.

I had a similar experience with Safestyle UK, The salesman promises the earth then the fitting crew turn up and are usually rubbish, I had to stand over them to make sure they did a proper job, it didn't make much difference though, still rubbish. Make sure you visit other installations before booking ANY window company, I wish i had...

Wanted new doors for patio and front, brilliant salesperson came round, we chose the doors we liked, didnt mind waiting for the fitting as we were pre warned, fitters came and installed the doors everything went well and we were really impressed and happy, that is until the phone calls started with outright stories of factory prices if we had more work done with them, told them we had spent enough this year and not to bother, they still persisted promising lots of great deals till i finally gave in and a salesperson called round giving us a quote that only a millionaire would be happy with, if there is one thing i dont like its this you have lost a customer

The salesman was very smooth and seemed to be knowledgable, He assured me that Anglian give a 35 year guarantee,with their doors and windows which covers everything and that on the sale of the house ,the guarantee can be passed on to the next owner. When I checked with Anglian I was told that the guarantee was only 10 years. The offered price was erroneous, for 3 doors and 2 windows the initial assessment was £4000, but then the salesman sat down with his laptop and came up with a figure of £13000.Then after knocking off a large sum of money for displaying a board outside my house, allowing photos, advertising on facebook, and a couple of other things, the price had come down to £8000.Another discount was added and the price came down to £6000, then £5750 and then £5500. After a sleepless night and some reflection I felt that I couldn't trust anything that I had been told and decided to cancel the contract. My overall feeling is that the product was good but that the salesman couldn't be trusted and it would have been better if I had been given a fair price in the first place.

We decided to use Anglian because of the professional way they dealt with our initial enquiry. They have been prompt in both the survey and the installation. However since the installation we have noticed a few small issues which we would like resolved and this is where they have fallen down. I cannot get hold of anyone to actually talk to. I have repeatedly left voice mail messages on various numbers and have sent an e-mail all of which have been ignored by Anglian. I eventually (2 weeks later) had a brief web chat with someone on line and now have a log number but 5 days later I am still waiting for someone to contact me in person. So we are on the whole happy with our new windows and door, we are not happy about the lack of after sale service.

Although the quality of the product and installation were acceptable, the customer service and organisation were unacceptable. There were several mix ups with the start date for installation and in the end this was put back around 4 weeks, leading to scaffolding being up far longer then promised. I had to make multiple calls to find out what was happening and despite being told on 4 separate occasions that a manager would call me back this did not happen. This was an expensive product and I expected far better in terms of the customer service. 2 stars given as the product and installation were OK.

We ordered an electronic lock. (Yale - fob, card and mobile activated.) The installer wasn't able to get it working. So he removed it, put a normal lock back and we had to arrange for someone else to come and do the lock. (There was nothing wrong with the lock. I had to phone for someone else to fix it.) Also, he chipped the plaster on the inside of the door. I'd hate to know whether actual damage was don't to the structure. The manager who fixed the lock, said someone would come and fix the plaster. However, no arrangements were made. Instead, he phoned and hassled me to sign and send the form saying I was satisfied with the installation. I told him I wouldn't until the plaster was fixed. Next thing, two people rushed in without appointment (when I was leaving for work) and said they were there to fix the plaster. It all sounds like a bit of a joke. I suggest looking elsewhere for a quality service.

Installation of french windows, bay windows and window sills I had the sales person come over in summer, we discussed details and pricing then the surveyor came around and took precise measurements. On the date of 24th of August the Anglian builders installed the windows but they could not install the hardwood windowsills because they were not the right size. I was told they were mis-measured by the surveyor and have to be ordered again. 3 weeks later I was told that the hardwood is finally here and we can make an appointment to have them installed. We agreed for Saturday, 4 weeks after the windows were installed. The builder was supposed to come between 10:30 and 11:30. At 13:30 the builder called to say he is late, and if we can make it on Sunday. I said ok, he came back at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday only to tell me that at the warehouse they gave him the wrong size of window sills, once again they were too small. Nothing could be done. I received a call from the installation team, and apologies, and we made an appointment for the next Saturday. Next Saturday, 5 weeks after the windows were installed, another builder comes by and finally installs the window sills. He asks if I am in Monday because he has to come back and stain the sills and he doesn't have with him what he needs. By this point I just wanted it done by my builders who I trust will do a good job in one day. No-one can give me my time back, or the appointments I had to miss, but it would be very good business practice if you can offer me a rebate on the total amount of the contract, as compensation for having to wait for so long to have the product installed.

Update: 3 weeks after paying the remaining cash balance, and getting an email from Anglian that the cash was received, I get a call asking to pay the outstanding balance. This really doesn't help improve my opinion of Anglian.
And of course there is no rebate for the poor way the installation was carried out...

We have used this company twice before and had no problems. This time started well, however before everything was completed we were asked if we would pay at the end of June due to the financial quarter end, and as there had been no issues previously we did so. What a mistake that was! We are still waiting for one of the 2 faulty windows to be replaced and its now mid Sept and the job started in mid-June. I am fed up of having to chase them over issues as they never ring us to give any update over whats happening, and even when you ring the phone rarely gets answered and there is no voice message service so you just have to keep ringing until someone finally picks up - and that can take days. But then, why would they? They've been paid! Overall the product is fine but its still not finished correctly. Seriously doubt we will use this company a 4th time

I had 12 secondary glazing installed in a large bay window and kitchen. A number of the handles had been damaged on transit however I agreed that the instal could go ahead on the basis that replacements would be sent. Now over 2 months and no handles. Looks like they totally loose interest as soon as you pay !, Phoned several weeks ago to chase up and it was clear that none had been ordered. Still waiting. Very poor service so would not use again.

The End product is good and the installers were very helpful as was the guy that came to do actual measure. The salesman was something out of the 60's, so much chat, cancelled two appointments. kept saying wanted to do best job for me, even down to saying he might be able to get job done in 6 weeks as against usual 8, it took 9 weeks to install. Original price was £12k but amazingly got it down to £5k if signed on day or £6 if at later date. Under pressure got it at £5k. Strange process overall which salesman assumed you would no all about costing etc.,

Fitters did a great Job but the letterbox was bronze not chrome strange when all the rest was chrome. Money paid on understanding letterbox would be changed soonest. Area Manager did not bring next day as promised. Tried to call but only phone answering was the order line, no one answering queries or open orders. After much chasing down I was promised the letterbox would be posted, still waiting, no not recommended as I said fitters were excellent office staff rubbish including the manager, just another company once paid do not care.

Three weeks further down the road, letter box sent to replace the bronze one is the wrong size, still only answering the new business extension. Installation manager came today also with the wrong letter box, doesnt anyone look at the order form the surveyor supplied. Latest is the size I need is not in stock so will have to wait until they get some, like I said never again pay an invoice on a written promise.

Don’t bother ! once they get a sale you get passed from piller to post dealing with different people from the company nobody can give you a answer for any queries or problems you occur. They left broken glass all over my garden rubbish from all the building materials they used. Left my front door and patio doors unlocked with no means of locking them as they where not trained to install the electric keyless locks that I had paid extra for , when asking the install boys had they been trained to fit these locks or any of the products they had fitted that day I was responded back with a big “no, we are just window fitters on price and can’t wait to get home it’s saturady” got told 3 days after the install that somebody would be sent out so that my property could be locked safely. Gentleman was sent out he had a look at my locks for about 20 minutes and said he was unable to fix them. 5th day of my house being unsecure a Yale engineer was sent out and installed the locks within 20 minutes. It’s just a big company ripping people off, and when it comes to getting a answer out of them nobody will get back to you.

Fitters done a good job it was office and management i had poor service off. 1st i changed my installation date to help out as they had 2 gangs and no work, so after a night shift and no sleep the fitters done my windows and doors all bar 1 window as no scaffold was ordered, so i had to put my self out for 1 afternoon for scaffolding to be assembled and then the next afternoon for the window to be fitted. Tried getting hold of a manger emails were sent from the office but no one got back to me 3 days later i phone again still no manager call. Still no apology ti this day for all the inconvenience caused and an offer of £100 compensation once i had payed and I'm still waiting, what a joke of an outfit where they obviously don't care about the customer.
