I hate this company with a passion and I wonder if the people giving reviews higher than 1 star are Anglian representatives because this is by far one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with and everyone I've spoken to about them says exactly the same. Their sales reps are pushy, rude and can't perform the most basic arithmetic. They cant take no for an answer and will give you the most absurdly low prices to gain your business but once you've committed yourself they'll revise their quotes a few days later and bump the prices up extortionately. The best advice i can give to anyone is dont let them through your front door you will live to regret it!!

I placed my order for Double Glazing on the 22nd November 2009. I was told by the rep i would be extremely luck to get them in by Christmas and would defintely be in by early Jan 2010. I was told the Surveyor would contact me within two weeks to arrange his visit and Windows would be installed soon after. I waited and waited and waited for the Surveyor to call but nothing happened. What a relief to read the other reviews and realise it isn't just us. Anglian's very pushy rep came out and took up residence in our home until we agreed to purchase. He promised lots but we found out later that he'd mis-sold us a credit agreement we didn't need, ordered goods he couldn't deliver and basically lied through his teeth to get a sale. This Company are Rubbish had a bloke come round on Wed and told him straight away I had another coming round on Sat. He Waffled for England and at the end of the day said if we paid cash it would be £6379 but if we took out a 13 month contract it would be £5100 How does that work ???? He wanted an answer same night so went out with a flea in his ear got Britelite today and they have quoted £3980 so steer clear of anglian!

***WARNING***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***

Our anglian rep told nothing but utter lies about the money side of things, he said we pay £50 deposit on the day then if we changed our minds then we could cancel the order and would only lose our deposit (which was fine) BUT he failed to tell us that you only have 7 days to cancel. BUT if you do cancel then you have to pay 25% of the quote given which in our case is £1k. So we have now got to pay £1k for absolutely nothing!!

Where do I start?
The conservatory was meant to be started on 1/10/09 eventually got started on 24/22/09 after we made numerous calls. It was completed 14/12/09. Faults include.Wrong type of bricks that do not match house, 1" spaces between bricks that are now lose, wall built too short so a gap was left between frame, floor is 15mm below the height they promised, cut through our existing door sill, not wired up as surveyor did not check if fuse box was correct, trim looks like it has been chewe ...

i noticed the advert tv for anglian windows so went online to find out more, i summit a for to request some one to come out to see me they did reply and we arranged an appointment, so a week later me and my partner are standing in my property which is in the process of repair from the floods last year, we waited nearly an hour for some one to turn up which they didn't so we phoned to find out what was happening only to be told that they don't actually cover this area so i waste time in the morni ...

I am suprised by some of the reviews, as we have been very happy from start to finish with the windows & doors we had fitted at the end of August 09. The rep was not pushy at all and we are very pleased with the finish. We had one problem which customer service dealt with promptly.

We have used local window companies in the past, but the quality was not as
good and as they are no longer trading we have no come back if we have a problem with the windows.

I had this so called "company" fit windows and doors at my home. I cannot stress to anyone considering using them.......DONT. What an absolute abortion they made of my home. The windows were fitted poorly and I don't think their fitters could have left much more mess if they were professional messy people. I have since had a conservatory built by a small local firm and I must say the workmanship was exceptional and the quality is outstanding. Big companies just don't care!!!

I paid £16000 for Anglian to build and install a fairly small conservatory in 2007. Since it's installation, the roof has been leaking, the down pipe goes into the ground with a slight bend and, basically, goes under the foundations of the conservatory and not into a drain, which will cause subsidence.

Every time I complain, they send an 'Engineer' which means I have to take time off work to wait in for either a morning or afternoon as they don't give specific times. He then accesses the ...

I was worried by the reviews written here and other sites but my own experience was nothing but positive. We had several companies quote for a high spec PVC conservatory. Anglian were not the cheapest but not the most expensive and they offered white woodgrain PVC which others did not along with solar roof and A efficient windows. Have just read the reviews and thought to add my own. I will never have anything to do with them again. I had a sales man come in November last year and to start he was three quarters of an hour late. I had been told he would give me 2 quotes. One to last 12 months and one a special offer. Anglian are a bunch of deceptive, immoral, uneducated crooks - avoid for reasons outlined below:

I required 10 sash uPVC windows, fairly sizeable, to replace my old windows. A sales rep arrived and quoted me a price of £22 000. I refused point blank and the price miraculously dropped to £14 000 - the "special offer" if I signed that day. I again refused at which point the sales rep called his manager who "allowed" him to offer me a new price £8200 if I signed that day.

Only given one star - no option for zero.

AVOID this company at all costs.

First appointment - no show
Second appointment - half hour late.

Meant to be with manager and 'trainee' (who was half decent). Shocking. Didn't leave until 930pm on a Friday night.

Sales rep insisted showing us every bit of info including his diary of appointments. Thank god we don't have a DVD player as he wanted to show us a DVD of garage doors.

Worst part was sales rep showing name and addresses of customers he' ...

Dont Believe a word that has been said. Sorry but when they are using Fraud to deceive the Customer and abuse, right from the very top of Anglian home improvements, there is something very wrong, oh, have you heard how many Benefits cheats and Tax Fraudsters this year alone have been caught, this year, i have been trying to force Trading Standards, for years to investigate, by the refuse, and even Anglians Solicitors Rogers & Norton have refused to remove all the convicted Criminals from Anglian ...
