top company. from the first call to completion, Anglian were so proffesional. sales staff exelent, price A1 bit dear but quality of windows was what won the deal, you get what you pay for after all!! every person i spoke to within the company new there stuff and not once did i feel like they were out to sell me something i didnt need or want.every phone call was answered every oppointment was kept and the two joiners who fitted my new windows were truely first class.all my old windows were disposed off for me and they even hoovered up after them. i would advise any one looking for double glazing to consider Anglian. i read a lot off reviews on this site knocking them but i went with my first gut feeling of the company after meeting there sales maneger and i was not disapointed. highly recomended and i will certianly use them again

A sales rep from Anglian visited me last July to give me a quote for replacement windows. I explained to him that I am due to relocate because of my job and I only wished for a quote at the moment because I was undecided at the time whether to renovate the house before selling or to sell it as is. After measuring up he calculated a price and told me that, to secure the price, I should sign a contract and, since it was to be arranged with a 6 month delay to execution to allow me time to make up m ...

A polite and very confident Anglian sales manager came to our house to carry out a survey for our conservatory. He wouldn't give a straight answer about his experience as a surveyor, but being a surveyor myself I know that taking an an hour to do a survey and produce a quotation is too quick! In fact his quote was about twice what I expected, so I looked at his costs and the inflated cost was the groudworks. It doesn't take a genius to work out that £10k is too much for foundations! Either ...

Anglian Home Improvements - Anglian Windows couldn't even get their sales appointment right so what chance do they have with any potential order. Their sales manager phoned at 4.30pm to cancel the appointment for 10.00am the next day - Very very poor!

The conservatory was built well. But the trouble started afterwards! Anglian had assured us that they would secure planning permission etc and that it was all in order. The day after the conservatory is completed we get a letter from Council stating that it is illegal etc.Anglian was most unhelpful and just kept demanding full payment from us.We refused and issued a legal notice to them. Then they condescended to apply for planning permission. No apologies, nothing.Very disappointing experience.Comp ...

The rep came sharp for he appointment at the fixed time. Started initial canvassing about the company and the product to be the best. Went around and made measurements. No problem so far, nice experience. But the whole thing started to turn upside down after this. Started to fill numbers and prices referring to his guide sheet. He was making his totals for 8wins and 2doors upto 18k, then suddenly said it was 9k on the whole. As i had already fixed a budget on this based on prior quote from a loc ...

I would recommend that people do not use Anglian Windows. I have just moved into a house which has their windows installed. The windows do not fit into the frames so there is a permanent draught through every window in the house. According to their customer service department windows can "drop" over time and the only option they give me is to pay £102 for an engineer call out. This would not be the case with a local company who would actually have some pride in their work and thier reputat ...

Haven't had any work done by Anglian Home Improvements since they quoted us £10k for proch gutter and fascias and as soon as we said thanks for the quote we're just going to shop around a bit dropped it to £8k... Very pushy salesman, gives me no trust what so ever in the company and on that basis alone I will most certainly not be dealing with them and wouldn't recommend.

I have had an Anglian Conservatory installed recently and i cannot tell you how much i am over the moon with it.I purchased a conservatory 6 1/2 years ago which from the moment it was installed i had problems with it till the company went out of business leaving me with no leg to stand on. My old conservatory was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer and leaked.I now have a room i can use all year round it may have been a bit more expensive but to me worth every penny as i now have no ...

Don't let Anglian tell you that you cannot have extra keys cut. They say that you have to have a template key from them and then take that as a cutting guide to a locksmith. We did this and Anglian charged us over £12 for the template. When we took this to the locksmith he said he could have cut one, no problem, from an original key.

We had Everest fitted before but Anglian were much better,we had 12 windows 1 bay and a back door. The fitters were superb, we are in Surrey and I would recommend these fitters. The back door had to be adjusted and they came back at a time to suit us the same day as we phoned. Excellent.

Initial contact was at the Wyevale Showroom in Derby - the lady there only knew about roof and styles but vague about anything to do with building materials, lead times or planning.

A warning if you've had a previous extension the planning permission rules are from the original building line not the extended one - our salesman sold us the conservatory on the basis it would be constructed in within 6-8weeks and we didn't need planning. We did!

If you need planning permission you need to chas ...

Bad service, useless conservatory, non existent guarantee for works. we spent a considerable amount of our savings on Anglian Home Improvements and have been left with a leaking conservatory which we had to pay seperate builders to repair. They had the gaul to ring us 3 weeks ago to try to sell us more double glazing despite us having written several letters of complaint and sending a surveyors report on the poor quality of work Please please please don't use them.

We recently had 8 new windows installed by Anglian and have had no problems at all. The salesman was not pushy and once we had decided to go with Anglian, the surveyor came quickly to measure up. The order was placed, and when the windows were ready they were installed in days. The fitters were really excellent! What little mess they made, they cleaned up, they were on time, friendly and just got on with the job. I haven't got a bad thing to say about them.

Asked for a rep from Anglian Home Improvements to come to give me a quote for a conservatory.Rep came promptly the next day. Found attitude odd and unprofessional, almost like trying to be a pal--most weird. Then proceeded to tell me what I wanted followed by a good 10 minutes telling me awful stories about the other firms and their ineptness and shoddy workmanship. When I then explained I didn't want to source my own company to do the underfloor heating(which I was told I did not need!!) as we ...

Would never use anglian again ! I am partly to blame for this mess and stress for what i paid even after reading reviews on this site. there is no such thing as communication and you are never confident of what you are going to get. you are passed on from marketing guy who thinks he is doing favour, to surveyor who just ticks some boxes to seal your fate, then to depot then to customer services and then to sort out any issues you have. i was promissed a date which was missed, time waste, designs ...

Stay well clear of Anglian. Out of 18 panes of glass, 7 were scratched during transit. They replaced 3, buffed 2 out and now we are left with 2 windows with scratches which they refuse to replace. This is damage caused post manufacture, which Anglian are now expecting us to pay for damaged products. Poor quality product, very poor customer service, lots of stress. DO NOT USE ANGLIAN!

I had a conservatory built by Anglian just over 8 years ago and we have not had a single problem with it since that day. I am considering having all my windows replaced now and I thought I would just check some reviews. I was surprised to see some of the bad reviews because we have nothing but praise for Anglian. I will definitely be using Anglian for my windows and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
