Do not ever allow Anglian to do any work at your home. We ordered a conservatory with them in September 2014 for installation the following August. They came and did the first survey for building control in January and got the dimensions wrong. So wrong that the conservatory would not have fitted within the space available. Don't use them, I had to cancel my order due to the fact it was have windows or pay care for my mother, but they would not do anything but charge me the full amount of cancelling, they had no regard for my situation all they would say you've sign the contact, I understand that there may have been a charge for the surveyor to come out, but not 30% of my over charge, when I tried to sort the thing they kept saying was you've signed the contact. “Ask yourself two simple questions!”

Before getting Anglian into your home, ask yourself some simple questions. 1: Why have Anglian received more bad reviews than good reviews. 2: What could you buy instead of double glazing from Anglian? “Avoid this company”

I had a door fitted in 2014. Since then I have been hassled and hassled with sales calls. Each time they promise to remove my name from their marketing lists - but don't. I wrote a complaint which was ignored. Then emailed a complaint in March this year and was promised they maintain high standards and control their marketing calls tightly. “DON'T FALL FOR THE BRAND NAME - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!”

“In a word : 'Unprofessional'”

I found having an Anglian conservatory fitted to be a very stressful experience. The main problem seems to be that Anglian does not pay attention to detail. Firstly, it submitted an application for planning permission without sending me the drawings for approval, as discussed. As a result, we lost about six months, since the application needed to be re-submitted. Anglian has insufficient decent fitters, so, after that, I had to wait quite a while for an installation date. Thank you for your message. However, to whom should I address my email, given that I tried unsuccessfully to interest your CEO, (and other Anglian senior management), in this matter many months ago? Moreover, despite the defects in the conservatory, Anglian has issued proceedings against me for more than the agreed price without serving the requisite pre-action-protocol-compliant letter explaining its position in detail. Your in-house solicitor has emailed that she is unwilling to 'litigate by correspondence', whatever that may mean. If she means that she is unwilling to enter into correspondence, she is failing to comply with her duty to the Court under the Civil Procedure Rules to further the overriding objective. I have requested the Court to take note of Anglian's history of lack of co-operation and courtesy, as co-operation is the bedrock of the CPR.

I had my Anglian Home Improvements replace all my windows also front and back door to my home in May 2015. I had cheaper quotes, but chose Anglian because I thought (mistakenly) they were a reputable Company with quality product and expert fitters. I was wrong on each and every count - too many to mention. Professional and friendly team, from call centre staff, through to fitters and after sales team. I ordered a conservatory, which was fitted well and catered to my specifications. “Dreadful sales pitch and rep”

I have just had the awful experience of an Anglian Doors rep visit my home. Firstly he entered my home, shaking my hand much longer than necessary (I am female) in a really slimey fashion and started cracking terrible jokes. Once we had sat down and had gone through what type of external door I wanted, plus the door frame,I was quoted over £6,000!!!!! 55% OFF I WOULDNT HAVE THESE IF IT WAS 100% OFF. TO START THE SURVEYOR CANT USE A TAPE MEASURE SO ALL WINDOWS WERE WRONG SIZE. WHEN THEY DID EVENTUALLY ARRIVE 6 MONTHS LATER THE FITTERS WERE RUDE ARROGANT AND MESSY, I STILL HAVE A WINDOW THATS NOT IN THE WINDOW APERTURE AND WHEN YOU RING THEY JUST DONT CARE. “Rude and nasty employees - never met such a bad company”

“An unprofessional bodge up”

The trouble started with the sales rep. I wanted a front door and adjacent window. He scrolled through the designs on his tablet and recommended an obscure glass for the window. The surveyor swiftly followed and said the obscure glass wouldn't work and recommended another. He showed me different glass designs that the rep hadn't shown me and I opted for a different design. I got Anglian to quote for some new windows !! after there presentation the price was what I was expecting so I ordered the Windows, over the next few days the surveyor came to mesure up, he explained everything in detail which left nothing to chance.
