Good Points: Excellent website. Really simple to use. Nice layout. Search facility works a treat.
Bad Points: Wish it would work out the offers, e.g buy one get one free, at the time of checkout, not at the time of the order being dispatched. The price you are quoted at the bottom when checking out is only a guide. Not massive problem, but it would just be helpful.
General comments: Brilliant. I get my shopping every month delivered to my doorstep by Tesco. Job done. If there are ever any substitutions made that I don't want I can give them back to my driver. It's only ever happened a few time, but I've always been happy with the alternative so I've never needed to give them back. If there is something you already know you won't want an alternative to then you can state this on your order and they won't try to make a replacement. My order has always arrived within the stated timeslot and they will even take the bags into your kitchen for you if you want. I really can't fault it. If you're environmentally conscious you can even choose not to have the items delivered in carrier bags - as a reward you can collect 'green' points on your Clubcard. It's a very simple to use website and I would gladly recommend it.

My experience was with tesco leytonstone I don t want to judge wrong all a group because of the incompetence of some people but Tesco Leytonstone is definitely one I will avoid. placed an order that i never received. i waited for 3 days more than what i they told me and I had to call five times a day cause they were never calling back despite saying they will. Finally after 3 days trapped at home waiting for the delivery they told me that my order had been lost and i had to place it again. The w ...

AWFUL. I've only used Tesco.com three times - and three times I've had terrible experiences.
For my first delivery, I'd ordered a bottle of Champagne for my partner, who had been abroad for a month and was returning the next day. It came with the security tag cap attached, which cannot be removed. When I phoned to complain they kindly told me to "walk to my nearest store" (I don't have a car) - 3 miles away - at 10pm to get it removed! I was promised a £5 e-voucher but never received i ...

Was told they had what I wanted at the time of order but didn't set aside and went out of stock. Didn't tell me for 12 days until the day before delivery was due. Five days before Christmas and too late to go elsewhere. Didn't offer alternative or goodwill gesture. Customer services failed to resolve the problem or answer the questions I asked.

My local Tesco store don't have a big selection to choose from. It does what it says and no more. Fair enough!

Customer service unfriendly - do not care what you have to say.
I had to hang up and phone again for a customer manager - when he arrived - he just did not care and said take my business elsewhere ( well that is the impression i get when a person tell you there is nothing they can do good bye)

More hassle than going to the shop!
Deliveries often late. I have found in my experience that food usually right up to sell by date and/or damaged. Standard never improved despite complaints. Tesco would rather just give refunds than provide quality service.

The delivery did not turn up and they did not call me to explain the situation. Next day (customer service closes at 11pm) I phoned the customer support number. They informed me that the order had been cancelled and that the store had tried to contact me which they cannot of done as I didn't receive a call. They have my phone number (customer service phoned me back on it) and I was by the phone all evening - no missed calls, no voicemail. I rearranged the order but got no special priority in ...

I've used this service several times and been very pleased with it. There's a much broader selection than available locally and prices are about 25% cheaper. I book the 11am-1pm delivery slot and delivery is always between 1101 and 1105 and evening deliveries have been just as punctual.
The delivery drivers are courteous and friendly, wait for me to put frozen or refridgerated goods away and will even take away the carriers for recycling.
On one occasion I wasn't given a credit for subst ...

Essential items have been forgotten, and customer services are not helpful. It meant I had to set off to my local supermarket immediately, which defeated the object of online shopping. I waited until the early hours, phoning repeatedly to different locations trying to get my shopping. It was eventually delivered the next day, but customer services were not helpful; they just kept putting me off. Todays delivery was the final straw. I ordered on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday, so price ...

I ordered from Sainsburys online until I received an offer for £5 off a £40 online shop with Tesco. The website was fairly easy to navigate, although to my surprise some items that I pick up in Tesco on a weekly basis just couldn't be found on the site, even though I tried multiple variations of searches. The ordering was the easy part. I placed my order, picked my delivery slot and away it went. The delivery slots are a two hour slot, so I waited in on a Friday afternoon and it t ...

I was delighted with the service I received from Tesco online, and I would definitely use it again, although the flowers were a little on the pricey side. My sister-in-law was over the moon with the flowers, and she said they were gorgeous. Delivery was very prompt.

My washing machine broke last week. On Thursday I ordered a new one from Tesco. They telephoned me Friday to confirm delivery. Delivery was minimal cost, just under £5 and it was delivered to me by Saturday!!! None of this two week waiting, brilliant!!! I even had the old washer taken away. I will always try Tesco first in the future.

I used Tesco once cause my partner was on a funny shift so couldn't get to Asda, had previously gone on bus and taxi home by my self with 4 year old son. When I got my computer, I thought will try Tesco on line. Well, I have never done a full week shop in a supermarket since. I do my shopping online every week and spend over seventy pounds every time. I am happy with what's being delivered, the fruit & veg is always fresh, the bread always has good date and the meat is always well cut. No pr ...

Due to having an injury and not being able to leave the house, I decided while I was off work, I would have my shopping delivered. Now I do not go shopping anymore.
Occasionally some of the items I have requested are not in the shopping, but I have not been charged, so it is no big deal, just can be a little inconvenient if it is something you are really waiting for. On the two occasions I have had to complain, they customer service staff have been extremely pleasant and apologetic and have ...

I've used Tesco online 2 or 3 times, mainly when I'm trying to organise a party or meal and don't have time to get to the supermarket myself. The biggest problems are the freshness of the fresh produce supplied and items out of stock. I think on every occasion I've ended up having to go out to buy stuff they did not have or was unusable, which defeats the purpose of getting it delivered!
Their customer service helpline is very helpful if you complain, and they do tend to refund anything you a ...

All in all Tesco home delivery seems to be pretty good although there is definitely some room for improvement. They never seem to be able to find the exact items I've asked for so tell me that they're currently not in stock. But when I've gone to the store (on the same day) I have found it! When products are replaced I normally end up with the most expensive alternative available and as a result have to go through my orders & request no substitutes which can sometimes (when things are running sl ...

Ordered an MP3 player from Tesco but after 7 day lead time had passed, still hadn't received it. Emailed 3 times and phoned once asking for a refund and money to be refunded. Still not had money back. Only email response I got was to say that they'd noted I'd rung in!! Don't use if you want to get a good service. They are too big to care how they treat you and not fussed if they lose your custom.

I had always found staff very helpful when I shopped at Tesco, Canal Road Store in Bradford. I was amazed at how extensively product lines were increased to when the store extention was completed. there is so much more 'better' choice on products available on everything from clothes, new electrical ranges, florence and fred clothing and shoes... wow I love shoes. The global food range is particularly helpful as it allows you to browse and try something new alongside your regular shop. i have ...

I tried Tesco Online, as I couldn't get a slot for my other online supermarket for the next day.
Their site is well laid out and easy to use, although trying to find Iams Cat food, I had to resort to search and could not find sparkling peach flavour water!
I noticed, however that despite making multibuy/ special offer purchases the checkout/view basket showed the individual price. This is confusing and gives an over priced shopping basket.
Early on Saturday morning (3.50am) I remembered ...
