    Good Points: the 870 is a reliable gun but is not the best gunon the market for value though it is close


    Bad Points: no over bored barrel leaves the patterns less desirable opposed to the ultimag 835 from mossberg.


    General comments: I owned a remington 870 it falls flat when compared to the ultimagfor patterns

    Dependable, accurate, well-built, the Remington Pump Shotgun is the best pump on the market. I've had this gun for over 5 years, have put literally thousands of rounds through it and have never had a single jam. Your great-grandchildren will be shooting this gun. For the money, you can't beat it. I've beaten guys with $2-3000 over/unders at trap with my 870 many times

    This is my favorite gun. I've got several semi-autos but I always seem to shoot this one (ducks, quail, pheasent) all the time. No jams or failures even in the cold!

    I think the Remington 870 I've got is a a good shotgun for rabbits or small game birds.
