    Good Points: Low acquisition cost, fit and finish, reliability


    Bad Points: I think its butt-ugly!


    General comments: If you can only have / afford one gun - this is it! The pardner pump 12 gauge is the basic all-around grocery getter and still gives you something to keep the wolves off the door-step, so to speak. You have a choice of black synthetic stock or walnut. I think I would have preferred the walnut furniture, but the wood stock is about 1/2" longer than the plastic, and the slightly shorter length of pull fit me better. It will hold 5 rounds up the tube, plus 1 in the chamber (without the plug, which comes installed). Out of the box, the action feels a little stiff, but will smooth out with wear and a little oil. So far I have about 50 rounds downrange with it, and no problems. I am looking forward to spring gobbler season.
