    Good Points: There are none.

Bad Points: Can't tell the truth if their lives depended on it.Really poor communication.

General comments: Carphone Warehouse were doing preorders on iPhones, so I ordered one and was told it would be with me on the Friday they were released. After waiting all day Friday, I phoned to be told they were out of stock (something they should have told me when ordering). Instead I could have a white one, which would be delivered on Saturday morning. I waited all Saturday morning. It didn ' t arrive. I phoned up to be told that my order had come in too late to be shipped Saturday and that they usually don ' t do that anyway and there weren ' t any in stock either. I cancelled the order and was told I hadn ' t been charged.I went in to the Apple store, who were very helpful and treated me with politeness and respect. I know not everyone has an Apple Store, but if you do they are great. They operate a little differently to most stores, which can be confusing to begin with (no tills to queue up at), but the service is wonderful.Today I was looking at my bank account and they ' d charged me. Which means 3 different customer service representatives lied to me. I phoned again and got a customer complaints representative. She arranged to refund my money but I pointed out that wasn ' t really enough. I ' ve had to make 3 calls at my own expense and they ' ve had my money under false pretences since 18 June. Apparently that is worth a £5 voucher. I pointed out that I ' d never use their company again, so a voucher was of no use.

I purchased a mobile phone and ten pound top up on the 4th June from Carphone Warehouse, it is 17th today and top up is still not on my phone. When called they gave very poor and untrue excuses, the beacon had no activated my phone (it was already receiving calls), then they said Vodafone had a problem processing (not so), I have called and now sent out four emails to the Carphone Warehouse contact us address, requesting top up or money back - NO response.

I have found car phone warehouse a disgrace, customer service is a disgrace. you just can not talk to them in a logical way. I have had two phones from them since 2007 so this is the 3rd year. They now contact me to say when i tookthe 2nd years contract out as a renew I am owing them £300 because they put a extra £300 on one of the phones. They have admitted it is their fault but say I stil have to pay. This to me is a joke and not a funny one. as this been done to anyone else out ...

I bought a touch-screen phone for my little sister after hers was stolen and was told that the screen was prone to cracking but if I brought it back within 28 days I could get it replaced, and I was glad that the Carphone Warehouse salesperson was honest about the phone. Unfortunately it did crack and so I brought it back to the shop well within the 28 day guarantee. Now I was told that because it was impact damage it wasn't covered by the guarantee, even thought the salesperson told me it was, ...

Bought a LG phone from Carphone Warehouse on saturday 24/1/09 took it back next day bacause phone was difficult to use and cut off functions when closing the slide. Was told that no relplacement of a another type was forthcuming . I emailed the head office and pointed out the 14 day approval clause on the website but was told that still no replacement was going to be given. I am taking it further. I would not recomend anyone using this company at all.

Phoned to ask for address to send cancellation notice because it was not on website. Was told I was not even allowed to get the address until 34 days before contract expiry date. So it seems you have only a 1 day window in which to get the address and send the letter in time for them to get it within the month's required notice!!! Apparently this is O2's policy not Carphone Warehouse's. Worse thing was the attitude of the service rep - not at all apologetic.

I was with carphone warehouse for past 5 years.. recently went to store to upgrade to iphone. Without asking me, they put me in 45pm contract, even though i was currently with 30pm for last so many years. They never asked my consent and I found their information to seem completely mis-leading.

My fioncai and I found 2 Samsung J700 offered on CPW website at £29.31 each. Ideal gifts for our nephews, aged 9 and 11. Advert shows free ASUR Eeepc with this phone. This is misleading, as it is actually only available if you upgrade to O2! Stores know nothing about this. I called CPW direct to ask and was told they have no control over their website?! I was then promptly offered a deal the shops couldn't match - 2 for 1. Great, as we wanted 2. He was busy with another call and w ...

I am one of them too, Carphone Warehouse is worst customer experience ever. We were due cancellation of 3 phones in the family around same time. When we sent cancellation letter they almost begged for us to be with them, i declined. I had to send letters with 30 days notice and then even after sending disconnection confirmation they called and told would you like to continue with us and another service agent called after months asking why Direct Debit is cancelled while there was no contract and ...

Hey even i did the same mistake.. is there any exchange possible? I bought a Sony Ericsson W350i from Carphone Warehouse (pay as you go on T-Mobile). In the morning I checked the prices it said £59.95 + £10.00(sim price and credit) so I had to pay £69.95 for this phone unlocked with a T-Mobile sim. But unfortunately I went to the store and bought that same phone on same network and paid £79.95 for it. £10 more. I confirmed the price with the store assistant q ...

I have just managed to end my 12 month contract after a long hard struggle. The sales staff seemed really unhelpful and gave me conflicting information as to when I should phone for my 'disconnection code' - I was given three different dates! The sales guy was still trying to sell me other deals and asked me 'If I liked wasting my money!' when I said I wasn't interested and just wanted to cancel. I was finally given the code and told the address to write to in order to end the contract. I sen ...

Carphone Warehouse - I used to work for a phone company so I knew there were faults with two models that I was looking at, I asked a sales assistant what the phones were like and when I asked if they had heard on any known faults with the phones they replied no they haven't heard of anything. My friend also went in to purchase a very expensive prada phone, she asked a lot of questions regarding the phone which most of them could not be answered satisfactorily. Instead of apparently using any sa ...

I bought a contract at Carphone Warehouse for my daughter. I was sold an insurance which I was happy about as the free phone was an expensive model. Within 10 minutes of leaving the store her phone rang and it was someone selling insurance saying they were from CPW. They told me the deal was 1/2 the price of the one I had already signed up to. I thought about it and decided to go for it. Then I queried who he was and he said he knew my credit card first four digits and my daughter's phone number ...

12 months back I followed the correct procedure to cancel my contract with Carphone Warehouse - I received a call from their Customer Cancellations dept. The gist of the call was apparently to offer as much as possible to keep me in contract afer it had lapsed - I had already Gone with Orange direct as CPW could offer nothing decent at upgrade time (soon changed their tune when canceling though) I advised that i had already gone with another service provider - the girl at CPW then said well you ...
