Good Points: On the rare moments (in-between magazine problems) I was able to use it, the gun showed its excellent firing properties.

Bad Points: (1) The pin that moves the magazine (in the magazine holder) to its next position, while correctly cocking, keeps on breaking.
My 300R has already twice been sent back to the factory to solve that problem, but the problem always reoccurs.
    (2) The magazine-holder is made of plastic and recently just fell apart...

General comments: It's a pity that Diana puts its good name on stake by bringing out a gun whit such a structural failure.
A small search on the internet shows I am not the only one having trouble with the magazine.
It 's allso very meaningfully that the 300R merely two years after its release already disappeared out of Diana's catalogue...

    Nice rifle overall
A bit more special than the average spring rifle. This is a really good gun.

Read the above and come to your own conclusions about the quality of this rifle, and umarex customer service.

In addition, umarex and the company I purchased the rifle from expressed bewilderment that I could have received a rifle in this condition, and both denied culpability.

Purchased from refused to replace or refund my money and passed the blame to umarex. umarex refused responsibility and implied that I was responsible.

All I did was order a new rifle and got ripped off in the pr ...

The velocity of my first few shots ranged from 467 fps to 2200 fps. Dieseling caused the loud, high velocity shot. After a few hundred shots, the rifle settled down to shooting .177 RWS Superdomes at 780 fps. Shooting from a rest, I can easily group five Meisterkugeln wadcutter pellets well within a one-inch circle at 30 yards. I expect the velocity and accuracy to improve as the rifle wears in.
The trigger pull measured with a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge was two pounds, fourteen ounc ...

Got my Diana second hand in Arthur Bales in Cardiff, after i was looking for a rifle that wouldn't need reloading after every shot. So i was recommended this rifle, at first thoughts it was far too heavy but at £200 i got it, compared to a PCP rifle which costs usually £300 and up plus divers tank/handpump and whatnot.

Got it home, loaded up, and took aim at one inch circles. Was truly amazed that the first four shots hit 4mm from the centre at 50 yards away, using Binsley Magums, ...

It's a really heavy rifle. Nevertheless the rifle feels stable, comfortable and you get used to the weight quite rapidly. I have a Tasco scope mounted which takes quite a number of shots before everything is adjusted. After that is done, fun begins!
It's not a quiet rifle, but not distorting.
The magazine(s) needs handling with care. It doesn't look very sturdy but so far (6 months of use) no problems have occurred. The magazine option was one of the main reasons for choosing this rifle, next ...

I've got Diana 300R by mistake. I ordered Diana Magnum 350 and due to human error I got it. Didn't have even rear sight so I put scope and tried to shoot it.
It was not bad but I don't think it is as good as 350 Magnum so I sent it back.
If you compare prices paying almost the same money for Diana 300R makes it much impossible to accept.
Even though under lever designe with fix barrel could be more accurate if you don't practice enough long time it still looked like poor sister of other one. ...

A large and powerful rifle. My Diana Model 300R is .177 and I recorded over 11.5 ft lbs when I first fired her. I had some bother with the mag feed at first and had it repaired under warranty and since then, I have put though her 1500 plus with no bother. It has a 7 pellet rotary mag which pushes into a indexing feed box, which is inserted into the rifle, when the cocking lever is cocked to the rear, the action of closing the lever or returning it to the lock position caused the feed probe to pu ...
