    The Gamo Viper Max

Well yesterday I finally decided to buy a new springer and I realy fancied the Gamo rage of rifles as some of them had synthetic stocks which for me was brilliant as I am generally out in all weather so very little care was required of the stock.

After deciding on the Viper Max I was well pleased when the following day I received a phone call from the shop telling me that my gun had arrived. I duly collected it and decided to check power output straight out of the box. My ...

Very quiet and light not alot of recoil. Gamo ViperMax is a good gun for shooting rats and pigeons. They don't make a sound.

I bought my rifle 8 months ago i find it an extremely easy and accurate gun which is more than capable of repeatedly hitting bottle tops from 20 meters i tend to use light pellets i would definitely recommend this gun

The gold trigger is nice to grip and I agree with the other reviewers that the pull is quite long, but as its a two stage its fine. You will be fine with it.
The moderator makes it comfortable to cock, as a 6ft athletic guy its no struggle, however my misses found it quite hard.
The fibre optics are superb on the sights. You have a U shape in green and a long orange stripe at the front.
The rears are fully adjustable and can be very accurately narrowed in.

Obviously you can fit a scope a ...

I bought this rifle (.22) to replace my Mk1 Vulcan (.22) which I have had since I was 16 ( I'm now 40 ). I was impressed with the way the rifle handles, the trigger is good (a little long in the draw from 1st stage to 2nd but you get used to it) and the manual safety catch is easy to operate. I can get a 1 inch grouping with open sights and with a scope at 20 meters with no problem. It is very light rifle to use and comes to the shoulder perfect it's like you don't have to really try to hit the ...

I've had no issues with this rifle thus far. I have not tried it on live game as yet. I hope to try it on pest birds and rabbits on my property. As far as accuracy is concerned, my family has no problem in hitting toy army men over 15 metres with open sights. I really like the look and feel of this rifle. I would recommend it highly to my friends.

If you were to compare the Gamo ViperMax to any other brand of gun, like the Remington Genesis, there is no comparison. The Remington is a lot more comfortable. I have both guns and the Genesis can kill a squirrel from 45 yards and the ViperMax can only kill a squirrel from 30 yards.

    I hope this information helpful.
