Good Points: Awesome accuracy out of the box, even better with a silencer or muzzle brake fitted. Quality build, one of the finest triggers available. Side lever cocking works silky smooth even at 21 ft/lbs with no effort at all required.

Fully adjustable stock options are very useful, Particularly good rifle for offhand standing shooting. Prone positions take more work and knowledge. FT sitting works very well with no contortions required.

Personally I like the removable air cylinder better than a fixed cylinder, it is not a bad point for me, though some beg to differ.

This Air Rifle definitely has the wow factor, and match grade performance......

Bad Points: The Steyr LG 110 FT should come with the raised slanted scope rail as standard. It should also come with an adapter to fit a silencer as an option from Steyr, so custom work on this item is not necessary before you can start enjoying it. While I have fitted an adapter and silencer that allows me to remove the cylinder for filling no problem, others have not.

The forend shelf is shallower than on the LG 100, and means custom fitting of suitable riser to attain the FT sitting position comfortably.

Loading a pellet into the breech can be tricky, especially with a smaller diameter head pellet, they have frequently fallen out again. This makes the barrel pellet fussy from that perspective, requiring a 4.52 mm dia pellet. Accuracy with head dia between 4.41/4.52 pellet is good tho.

Last gripe: The pistol grip does not allow a thumb up grip to be used. Concentration is required to ensure correct trigger release technique. It takes some learning to adjust from a rifle where you can hold your thumb up, and this should possibly be an option in a later revision of this model.

General comments: I definitely like this Air Rifle. It does what it promises, and more.

A little practice brings big rewards, and it has not given any trouble at all. Very reliable well thought out power plant. Very consistent shot strings.

Barrel needs to be cleaned regularly to avoid fliers.

I have not seen any point of impact shift due to temperature change mentioned by others, I think that is probably more to do with the optics moving and expanding than the rifle body itself. I would try a silver scope to reflect the sun on hot days.

Feed this Air Rifle only top quality pellets, JSB heavy 4.52 at 21 ft/lbs, or AA Diabolo Fields/JSB Exacts 4,51/4.52 at 12 ft/lbs.
