Got a .177 HW97k II and it competes with all non FAC guns. Made in Germany so no worries there. Bit loud but I ve fitted a V mach tuning kit and its now even better. Unless you can t handle a heavy rifle, this is the baby for all round shooting. (read more)

Needs a very good scope to cater for its needs. its power and accuracy mean it can shoot well up to 60 yards. Very powerful have shot many birds from 40 to 50 yards or 37-45 metres. its very reliable very sturdy nice look. accuarate rifle. I did find the Weihrauch HW97K air rifle quite heavy. (read more)

Since buying my 97k mk11 about 18 months ago,i have to say i've never shot a more accurate spring powered rifle.As soon as i got it out of the box and zeroed it on the range,i was surprised how easy it is to hit targets even out to 55 yards.Some people don't like the weight but i find it helps with the stability and the recoil,as long as you are consistent with the hold you will find it will hit more or less anything you point at.Another good thing is that it turns out not to be too pellet... The rifle looks and feels as quality as I have seen in a under lever rifle. The German engineering is smooth and precise and for my money the rifle looks more than its price tag. The first day I bought the rifle I took it out with 2 friends. 1 had a logun s16-s and the other the logun solo. This rifle matched the others in power all day and when they were packing up (out of air) I was still picking off quarry easily at 40-50 yards. Top rifle! (read more)

I absolutely love the Weihrauch HW97K MKII rifle!!

Where do I start? Well, it's heavy, but the weight gives it a nice balance when shooting. It's loud, and I want it to be loud. It looks good, feels good to hold and has excellent balance. It is pure fun to shoot at targets. I will admit I am not a very good shot, as my eyesight is not 100%, yet if I miss I am still grinning. I use a high mag Nikko Stirling scope to compensate.

Fully agree, i love the sound the power is amazing i wish it was a little lighter but i suppose it stops you doing crazy 8s when your hunting
