HI GUYS AND DOLLS, WELL WHAT A GUN MY EV2 MARK 3. AFTER 1000 SHOTS - WHAT ACCURACY SECOND TO NONE - AT 50 YARDS SHOOTING FROM CAR DOOR I CAN COVER ALL MY GROUPS WITH A 5 PENCE PIECE, WHEN SHOOTING CARD TARGETS WITH AIR ARMS DIABLO 1.77 452 PELLETS WITH LITTLE WIND OF COURSE.

MY SCOPE IS A MTC VIPER 10X32X60MM SIDE WHEEL ITS FOCUSING IS INCREDIBLE IN AND OUT OF FOCUS ACCURACY TO THE YARD, THE ONLY DRAWBACK WITH THE GUN IS THE METAL BUTT ASSEMBLY THEY SUPPLY WITH THE GUN. SCREWS ON IT KEEP COM ...

Supremely accurate and consistent, fit adjustment infinitely variable, good number of shots per fill. Probably the best looking sub £1000 field target rifle. Another superb gun from Air Arms and a real must for any collection. I prefer the early silver versions, rather than the multilayer Tawn stocks. The Air Arms EV2 air rifle is pretty heavy though.

    I have a Mk1 model which I bought about 3 years ago.
I have done several mods to get the most out of mine:

Added to the palm swell with some plastic putty to get it to better suit my hand.
Removed wood around the trigger area to stop my trigger finger rubbing the stock.
Thrown away the entire butt assembly and replaced it with one from a daystate Mk3 FTR. - thus reducing the LoP, and making it more comfortable for standing.
Added lead weights under the rear of the butt stock to bring the PoB b ...

The EV2 is one of the most accurate rifles I have had the pleasure of shooting. The Chrony test that came with the rifle shows 6fps deviation over 20 shots. That is very impressive.

The ergonomics and adjustments found on the EV2 allow the shooter to customize the rifle to fit him and I find a proper fit adds even more accuracy.

I am very happy with my EV2 and recommend it without hesitation.

If you are willing to spend the money and feel 12FPE is not an issue, this is the one I recommend. They have the ability to adjust to almost any body type. It is heavy so my 11 year old son won't be shooting any time soon but for me I like the weight. I have actually added more weight to the front to increase the stability. I can't say any thing bad about it. My gage even works and it shows the same pressure that my tank gage.

I read the negative review and had to elevate the overall s ...

Quite possibly the most accurate rifle I have ever used bar none.It may be a little heavy but that is a bonus for target shooting as the gun remains stable on aim.The rifle can be adjusted to fit extremely well, although the butt pad is not as good as the Anschutz or MEC types it is functional. The quality of engineering is first class with all metalwork finished to a very high standard and the metal to wood (laminate) fit is very precise. If your looking for a proper FT rifle - get an Air Arms EV2 ...

Have now bought a Daystate mk3 FTR and the Ev2 has been given away i will never buy another Air Arms product after the lack of after sales service they offer to someone who has just spent £1000 on one of their guns.
