Good Points: Above average power for CO2 pistol long barrel gives better accuracy great fast fire fun!

Bad Points: Heavy trigger reliability/build quality issues breaking in period required magazine fiddly to load and can be unreliable

General comments: A lot has been written about the Anics Skif 3000, and to be fair much of this applies equally well to the Brocock F1, basically a Skif with a longer barrel disguised as a moderator. First thing I would say is take notice what the manual says about pellet loading, otherwise you are sure to suffer jams! In addition to this I would thoroughly lubricate the magazine before use, perhaps loosening the screws a quarter of a turn or so. I notice that newer mags seem to have been modified slightly, and do not have a plastic slide over pellet insertion port. These seem to be more reliable, so if you can, replace the older type magazine (they are only around 6 quid). I have had mine for about 6 months and in all honesty I can say I found it needed a breaking in period of a few months before she started behaving! For example, the slide action was initially so stiff I thought that the pistol was only double action. Only after a few months of use (and dismantling/lubricating) could I get the single action to work! There are pellet problems too. You can't wack in any ammo. This pistol will jam very easily with the wrong pellets! In practice I now use Prometheus PPP1 and no longer suffer jams. BB's too seem to be OK. The trigger is also very heavy and that is something you just have to live with. So why have I still got it you ask? Well now she is behaving, and shoots like a dream. I can get 1 inch grouping at 25 feet now (when I have a good day), and it will fast fire just like the Gamos, and CP88's etc. Power is around 4ftlb depending on ammo. In summary I would say had this gun been manufactured by a more reliable firm it would have been a bestseller. Don't buy one if you want something with out of the box quality and reliabilty together with pinpoint accuracy. If you are patient and are prepared to fiddle around with the thing you will discover you have one hell of a pistol!
