    I bought this DVD recorder for one thing and one thing only. That was to transfer my analogue camcorder images onto DVD. This unit does that with relative ease. The unit was advertised as recording on DVD+R/+RW formats only but upon purchase I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a manufacturer update in the user manual indicating that it records also in DVD-R/-RW formats too. Which meant all my stock of -R's weren't going to go to waste!
