    This Ibanez is a great guitar, especially for that price!

    The Ibanez JS100 has been for years Ibanez JoeSatriani flagship instrument. It has been my third guitar and I have been in general happy however there is a room for improvement. If you buy JS100 please choose those with old Floyd Rose TRS tremolo as it is much better from New Ibanez Low Pro bridges. Older has tight mount tremolo arm where new has tiny arm which fits into plastic sleeve. Not so good if you use trem a lot, you will not get flutter effect with new ibanez tremolo.     Lots of bang for the buck in the Ibanez JS100TR, as compared to the much more expensive JS 1000. The main difference is the JS 100 has the Ibanez pickups, not DiMarzio's, but the Ibanez pickups really are fine. You will pay three times+ more FOR ONLY A SLIGHT quality gain vs. JS 1000, is my opinion after owning this guitar for about six months now. It has never broken a string and has been very reliable on numerous gigs.
