    Picked up a Fender Mexican Telecaster '92 (stamped on back of neck) in pawn shop, 3-strings,dirty rat looking, didin't even plug it in..........$150.00, once set up it, it surpirised me big time it SCREAM's, I while put it up against my '52 (all orig.), or either of my 2 (early '80's) custom shop tele's,all guitars are stock, with my set-up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I went to the store and had my heart set on a Telecaster. They showed me some other Tele-like models. I didn't like them. Stay away from tribute Tele's. (JUNK) I was searching for a guitar I could play through a PA and two amps I have. This was it since I am not putting out the money for an American made Tele. I have been playing for 35 years and I finally got the sound I wanted. Play mostly country/gospel/worship music.

    The model Telecaster I am talking about is the 60th anniversary Mexican Telecaster. I bought this guitar having played older Tele's, and I was excited to hear the sound from this one. Much to my amazement, the fret board rattled more that a snake does when it's about to attack. When it comes to tuning hardware, let's just say I could probably do a better job holding the strings in place with one hand and playing with the other.
