I ordered 2 bikini tops online 4 days before going away. I PAID THE £4.99 FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY - did not arrive even though their 'order status' said it had been dispatched. “Worst customer service”

I ordered a dress for an event 2 weeks ago. I paid extra for next day delivery. My dress did not show up in time, Debenhams had no solution to my problem and could only offer a refund for the delivery, which 2 weeks later has still not been refunded. I have called the service 5 times now and each time have been promised a call back which has never happened. “They Just dont Care”

As someone who works in a customer facing role I understand the importance of empathy and concern towards customer concerns - even if I didn't necessarily agree with their views. I had thought that a big High Street brand like Debenhams would be kings of customer service - how wrong was i! “Awful Customer Service”

The customer service teams just don’t care. I placed an order on the 27th May 2014 (716858834). I was sent the wrong order. I called you and you said you would collect the wrong item and re-send the correct item. You did neither. Second call to yourselves. You advised items would be on the way. “Unbelievably appalling!”

I was trying to get a parcel collected by a courier for Six weeks due to the fact that the Returns Label facility was not working on their website. The courier turned up to the wrong collection address and subsequently did not appear again ! Customer services emails were generic and my requests were not understood. Be careful when you order large items that you don't want them within one month. I ordered beds and they took six weeks to deliver. The mattresses for the beds took five weeks. Won't be getting another large order from me. Debenhams can't be anxious for sales!… Read Full Review

it does say furniture items are made to order and state the delivery times which can be up to 6 weeks on some items. helps if you read it.

“Don't use click and collect”

I ordered an item online, believing the time frame quoted on the website and am still waiting despite the fact that the tracking shows my item was despatched 4 days ago! How long does it take to get from the warehouse to the shop? I asked in the shop but they couldn't offer any hope for the delivery. Next time I will use my normal high street supplier who can have the goods in store the next day. I ordered a coat for my mum for Christmas, their website said guaranteed delivery by Christmas eve. When the coat didn't arrive I phoned customer service and I have to say they have to be the worst cs I've ever dealt with. Experienced the same treatment never even told me the order was cancelled it wont happen again though no more dead enhams for me plenty of good shops about no wonder the profits are down DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Avoid - worst shopping experience ever!”

Ordered 3 bar stools on-line and one arrived damaged. I had to re-order and needed to exchange the other 2 for a different colour.
