“USLESS DELIVERY SYSTEM ”

I ordered 2 items. One being the Clarisonic and one some make up. i received the order promptly but when opening it only one of the items has been sent to me. i paid for both and the delivery note stated both had been shipped to me. To top this off the clarisonic which i had spent over £100 had been opened and the box was ripped. Like it has just been picked up of a shelf in a store! it didn't look brand new at all. “Dress was so creased spent over an hour ironing it”

“Useless”

wanted to contact a store to check stock, given incorrect department and no answer. Called customer services charged for the pleasure they could not get thru so asked me to call the store as they are not allowed to call customers back. A frustrating and costly experience. John Lewis gave me quick clear accurate information ordered they are a dream to deal with. Customer service does not exist. No-one actually wants to help you even if it is Debenhams who are at fault. Exceedingly slow to process returns, I am actually wondering if I will ever get my money back. I have asked to close my account and even this has not happened. “Worst customer service”

I ordered a dress for an event 2 weeks ago. I paid extra for next day delivery. My dress did not show up in time, Debenhams had no solution to my problem and could only offer a refund for the delivery, which 2 weeks later has still not been refunded. “They Just dont Care”

As someone who works in a customer facing role I understand the importance of empathy and concern towards customer concerns - even if I didn't necessarily agree with their views. I had thought that a big High Street brand like Debenhams would be kings of customer service - how wrong was i! “Awful Customer Service”

The customer service teams just don’t care. I placed an order on the 27th May 2014 (716858834). I was sent the wrong order. I called you and you said you would collect the wrong item and re-send the correct item. You did neither. Second call to yourselves. You advised items would be on the way. “Unbelievably appalling!”

I was trying to get a parcel collected by a courier for Six weeks due to the fact that the Returns Label facility was not working on their website. The courier turned up to the wrong collection address and subsequently did not appear again ! Customer services emails were generic and my requests were not understood. “delivery times”

Be careful when you order large items that you don't want them within one month. I ordered beds and they took six weeks to deliver. The mattresses for the beds took five weeks. Won't be getting another large order from me. Debenhams can't be anxious for sales!… Read Full Review

it does say furniture items are made to order and state the delivery times which can be up to 6 weeks on some items. helps if you read it.
