Good Points: Excellent all-round phone, great camera.
Bad Points: Web button can be used accidentally (on some network versions).
General comments: There are many reviews already on this phone so for me to add anything new apart from my experience will be quite difficult -
However the Sony Ericsson K800 is the best phone I've used!
(Update - I'm now using the c902 which blows the k800 away!!)
The regular features alone make it a good phone but the ease of use, the fantastic camera and the robust design add up to make it a phone worth owning.
A few people I know have moaned about the 'web' shortcut button (the small rectangular one to the right of the joystick) but this is only a web button on some network styles - on my phone from Vodafone) it's an end call button, which is much more use for me).
I have had a few occasions where I've needed to switch off and 'reboot' it (to use a computer analogy) but never had a problem where it didn't come back working again. I know a few people who have complained about this but again I have to stress this is review is just my personal experience.
I like the Sony Ericsson PC Suite (the computer interface program that comes with the phone). It is easy to install and very easy to use - giving decent flexibility on moving files, pictures, videos etc onto your PC. The best advantage for me was that I was able to use the phone as my back-up camera when my regular camera broke. Using the PC suite I could transfer files as quickly as my camera does without the usual hassle of phone to computer interface programs. Again this is only my experience but other computer to phone interfaces I have used are awkward and tricky to get to grips with.
I think phones are a very personal affair - I have used Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG and Motorola over my time in the modern world of mobiles.
In this quickly changing area I've found Sony Ericsson have been able to keep some old style things in their menu's and still make them accessible to new users. They have developed a nice fusion of many other menu styles - I'm not saying they are innovative or original, just easy to use.
For an all-round phone this one is almost unbeatable!

I recently "upgraded" to the Sony Ericsson K800i from the W800i after much deliberation between the K800i and the W950i. My initial thoughts were negative because I am a huge fan of the Walkman series and this model doesn't support Walkman features. In reality, this means I have no button on the phone that takes me into Walkman mode, no specialised equalizer settings for optimal listening, no comfort fit ear phones, no in-line remote control. This may seem trivial but they all take away from the ...

Using the Sony software you can sync the Sony Ericsson K800 with Outlook for diary, contacts, events and it is a complete organiser as well. It's a very good phone that does everything you would want. If you are OK with the size, then this is the ultimate camera phone built to a high level of quality.

My Sony Ericsson K800 has loads of features, good speaker, great camera, crisp screen and the list goes on. It does, however, lose reception at times when my old Nokia wouldn't. Screen needs cleaning regularly. It's worth buying a memory card as to get the most out of the phone, you will need one

I would advise anyone to get this Sony Ericsson K800 phone if you can! I'm used to Nokia phones but this is so simple to use and you quickly get the hang of it!
