The Hunts County Mettle 5 star is very good value for money. I found it to be an excellant bat for playing advanced shots and drives. I also found though that it does take a while to knock in, it took be between about 4 and 6 hours.

Very nice bat good for tail-enders. Very light and nice grip good pickup and feels good out the middle of the bat. There are no bad points at all.

Very good value for money bat with a good middle and good pickup - feels good especially in drives when you find the middle. Good quality wood but take the time to knock it in even though it may say pre-knocked in. I'd do at least 5-6 hours on like any other bat and have someone do throw downs to you in the nets with older balls first.
