Good Points: There are other resturants in St Andrews such as Zizzi's and The Vine Leaf. Spend your money there and not Ziggy's.
Bad Points: Tables very, very close togher. Food is over priced and nothing you wouldn't get in chain resturant. Staff very unprofessional when you telephone to make a booking. Noisey, not the place for a meal. Anythiing you said would be overheard by at least four tables if they could hear you above the music.
General comments: There is an excellent resturant in St Andrews called Zizzi. Fabulous food, tremendous service, interesting menu, you can see into the kitchen and see the food being prepared.
How Ziggy's has survived given the way they try to cram people in is amazing. There are good resturants in St Andrews, Ziggy's is trading on visitors not knowing where to go and charging them high prices when they get there. Also there is no where to go if you arrive early and the table isn't ready. I mean that literally, you will be standing in the street waiting for the table to be ready. Avoid this place.

Has pretensions of being American style but is more like an up market MacDonalds. No seating area for customers arriving early - we had to walk around until a table was vacated.
