    Twice now me and some friends have eaten at Ziggy's and all fell ill shortly after. We will never be eating here again, the manager of the establishment is also known for being anti-american, (after he was heard shouting abuse at an american girl), which is interesting considering many of his customers are american. He is very rude and the service was appauling, what ever you do, don't ask to split the bill! The worst meal we have ever had in St Andrews.

    ziggys is amazing , definately the best restrauant off its type in the town , great atmosphere , fantastic food , and the service was friendly and attentive , an absolute must if your in the town

    I found Ziggy's, St Andrews to be a dissapointment. My husband and i and our 10 month old son really liked the sound of the menu and since it had a childs menu thought this would be a great place to set up for lunch. To my suprise instead of being greeted with a friendly hello i was asked sternly if my pram folded down as not to take up space in an empty restuarant.     The steaks which used to be so good I thought were awful, would not recommend the strip steak. I had 'reef and beef' The steak was dreadful, the chips mediocre and the onion rings soggy. I had a Bananarama Ice Cream to follow, should have been easy enough but the fudge sauce was grainy and it was hard to find any banana.     Ziggy's restaurant and staff make one feel at home, as if you are part of their family. Food is excellent-one of the best steaks I have ever had! Everyone is up for a joke and are happy. Wonderful place.

    There is an excellent resturant in St Andrews called Zizzi. Fabulous food, tremendous service, interesting menu, you can see into the kitchen and see the food being prepared.
    How Ziggy's has survived given the way they try to cram people in is amazing. There are good resturants in St Andrews, Ziggy's is trading on visitors not knowing where to go and charging them high prices when they get there.     Has pretensions of being American style but is more like an up market MacDonalds. No seating area for customers arriving early - we had to walk around until a table was vacated.
