Is there a way to get all our money refund? Or at least with all the money you legally stole from us, you can have the decency to create another way to get our money Worth it in music. Come on, be a man for heaven sake!

They should have refunded people's money or at least send an e mail saying they were closing site out!

Official news: We are terribly sorry, but due to recent changes in Russian Federation legislation (Anti-Piracy Law, wich came into force August 1), we can't continue offering you our service. Thanks for all of you, who supported legalsounds.com through these years. http://mp3caprice.com - alternative site, used for long time. recommend

what about those of us who have used Legalsounds for years and have significant balances on our accounts? Is there anyway we can get it back?
Written on: 06/09/2013
So Putin shut them down.... Now should I be afraid of ALL Russian affiliated companies? Is Kaspersky now going to police this for the Kremlin? What a joke!!! Sounds like they (LegalSounds) made bank on remaining balances! Thanks

Me too. In earlier years when sites were closed the money, login and password were transmitted to a new site. (MP3sale, Allofmp3 etc.)

I only know of this site because a charge for it showed up on my credit card... not exactly sure how, but I suspect it is somehow related to some recent unrelated transactions. At any rate, if you can't see past this scam, you are a fool. Have you never heard that if a deal is too good to be true, it probably is? Don't you realize that if this were actually legit, iTuens, AmazonMP3, and Google Music would all be out of business? If you're going to pirate music, don't pay someone to do it for you FFS. If you want to complain and moan about the quality and DRM of digital music, then do what I do - buy the CD. If you buy the CD, then you can rip it in lossless or whatever high quality format you want - without DRM restrictions. And if you have an Amazon Prime account, you don't even have to worry about shipping, it's practically the same money. Wise up, you're paying for pirated music. There is nothing legal about this.

I knew of these websites for some time but never thought to cross their paths. All I knew is these companies (often based in Russia) would simply sell on downloaded or leached files at a fraction of the cost. Q: WHY ARE THEY SO CHEAP? A: They aren't a legitimate distributor of music, they don't pay anything to the artists/record labels at all & just sell reproduced copies of songs they have detained. Q: IS IT LEGAL? A: Yes it is, In Russia, they do not have any licenced permission to redistribute the song however that isn't need in Russia. It's patchy as to whether or not you purchasing these items is considered legal, but then again you're purchasing off of an unlicenced 'dealer' so yeah it is illegal at the end of it. Q: IS IT A BARGAIN? A: Well at the end of the day you are BUYING a pirated version of an album and what's worse (as is the reason I discovered this site) recently my band put out an EP, like a month ago & it has since turned up on this website... that's right our free EP is now being sold for 69cents a copy without any permission what so ever & it's the case with some other artists as well, the fact they are charing money for a free product is awful & I at least know from first hand experience that they do not support the labels or artists in anyways shape or form. So yeah it's a bargain, you can get an entire album for 99cents, until you realize your just paying a bunch of pirates for an illegal/ilegitimate copy of the album, might as well torrent it or use spotify... don't line these guys pockets. Overall: I'm not going to lie here, the site is superbly designed & whilst I have never purchased anything off here myself it is an incredibly nice looking and functional scam they got going on here. But at the end of the day it is a con for all parties involved, you paying for a pirated copy & for the artists and labels who don't see any cut at all. And this potentially more damaging them pirating (in it's traditional form) as people think it's okay because they're paying for the MP3s so those who usually morally object will now start diverting their money to an illegitimate source. Well designed site but at the end of the day CON CON CON CON.

This was one of the better sites out there but it appears they can no longer accept any payments, I get the message that credit cards payments are not accepted at present (there are no other payment methods available!) so it seems like it will become defunct. Shame...

As of this week 2/22/11 it worked for 2 days. Then the program would not load. The 3rd party downloading program could not download from site either. Legaldownloads would not respond to my messages or emails. They have stolen $400 of my money. Buyers beware, if its too good to be true then....
Written on: 26/09/2011
This is not a scam. I don't know what you've done wrong but if I were iffy about a company, why did you give them $400 bucks out of the blue. that sounds too good to be true. This company uses my bankcard and I've never had a problem. I purchase my music in $25 dollar increments.

This site is a scam - every time I order tracks the site takes my money and then it all goes into some kind of fault which cannot be rectified without waiting a few days until it seems to have sorted itself out, this is a pain in the ass when I am trying to use the system and have paid my money, and it has happened dozens of times, the problem always seems to happen just after I have paid credit to the account, and a number of orders are paid for but I never get the goods - the site is very dodgy and I have lost a fair bit of cash - my advice... use caution!!!!!!

This site sells pirated music for a profit, if you are happy to engage in piracy then you can get all the music they offer for free elsewhere. every cent spent here is a cent wasted. only an idiot would pay money to steal music

I thought it was good value, but when I added money to account, songs didn't download properly. About 60% didn't download properly in my experience therefore I do not recommend legalsounds.com.

It's very cheap and has a lot music I haven't been able to find on other sites as far as I am aware. It's the most frustrating site to navigate however in my experience and opinion. I'm constantly receiving error messages and if it does take me to the page I want, it's painfully slow as far as I am concerned.
I needed way too much patience for this site to be worth my while, therefore I do not recommend Legal Sounds.

Bit rate is all over the place in my experience. The same album can have songs ranging from 128 to 256 and everywhere in between. That is, if you don't keep getting the error messages that prevent you from downloading whatsoever. This site may be cheap, but I'm personally willing to abandon the $50 I put into it just to save myself the frustration this site is causing personally. Therefore I do not recommend Legal Sounds.com
written by on 10/02/2008
Too good to be true? Works on basis that you effectively pay to listen to each song once - like how radios pay for the music they play.
I am not happy with their service as I feel it's a bit dodgy? Dont recommend Legal Sounds.com.

I disagree with this review because... the comments are not truthful or factual. I have downloaded over +350 songs on my computer and on my mp3 player transfer them back and forth, played them over and over they still work and the only cost .09 US cents per song
Written on: 30/06/2008
This is not true easy to use cost next to nothing and can use songs and move them round from friends to iPod and back again 9 out of 10 all my friends are now using this site

In earlier years when closing your Russian sites (MP3sale, Allofmp3 etc) you transmitted the money in the balance to a new site. Also login name and password were transmitted to the new site. Now is everything gone?

When I try to add funds to my account on Mp3Caprice I get an SSL Error warning. If I proceed anyway, I'm directed to a non secured site to make a payment. When I call your toll free number, I'm told to leave a message. So far, doesn't sound like a good plan to join Mp3 Caprice!
