    LegalSounds is one of the cheapest places on the web to download music.

    Songs are 9cents each, there's a loads of tracks and it's packed with both old and new releases.

    It's legal, safe, virus free and best of all, it works with iTunes.

    Legal Sounds is easy to use with wide assortment of songs. One problem though - the preview feature of songs has never worked for me.

    Fantastic price ($0.09 per track)
    Dont have to buy full album (although Im not 12, so I do)
    Most artists and albums covered
    Responsive to requests
    Reliable (I have been with them since demise of AllofMP3 a couple of years ago - no funny credit card business!! :o) )

    CONs
    Very slow to navigate, although download is done in background so doesnt really affect you
    Some charted albums take time to be listed.
    Variable bit rate (Cant say I have ever noticed the ...

    I do have a bit of a problem downloading from Legal Sounds but it's worth the bother because the price is right and the quality if fine. I'm a little bit PC illiterate so even the download problems may be on me, not the site. Overall, I like the value on this site.

    I love this site ! Legal Sounds is really cheap and the music they provide are quite rare to find on the other sites. Perfect 10 in my books =)

    Why didn't I find this site earlier??? That's what I keep asking myself when I use look for and download music from here. I've thrown away so much money on itunes over the past few years but have remedied this and have been using Legal Sounds for about 8 months now. So far no complaints. It's easy to use - the quality of the music is good on the whole - as good as itunes very often with a lot of it now coming out on 320kbps.     I've only used www.legalsounds.com for a little while but so far, so good. I requested for an album to be added and a week later it was. The vast selection of music is great as is the quality and quick downloads.

    I have been using LS for several years now with now issues. They have a good selection of music, especially new artists and new albums. For .09 cents a song your $25 will last you a long while. I've found the quality of the songs very good and like that the songs are organized when downloaded by artist and album. Two thumbs up!

    The downloader works well and always resumes. Even if error or the connection drops out. The catalogue is good and new albums added very quickly. I have used the site for 3 years now. No problems at all. The only thing I would like is a bit more colour on it. It can look a bit insipid. Well recommend Legal Sounds.com.

    Great value for money, in-built downloader works great even when partial song is downloaded & it automatically "pulls" the remaining next time. Huge list of available music, site is well laid out & easy to use. Love this site, very high quality, easy to use, great fn.

    I thought it was good value, but when I added money to account, songs didn't download properly. About 60% didn't download properly in my experience therefore I do not recommend legalsounds.com.

    Fairly easy site to use. I have no problems with error messages or anything like that. Their downloader resumes from the point it left off if there has been a problem. UK credit card payments are back on again, so no problems there.
    All in all, I would reccommend this site for good quality, cheap music.

    Been using the site for a while and had no problems, library is not all inclusive but is pretty good for what you pay.

    Option for UK (and US/Canada) credit card payments seem to have disappeared from site though, making it impossible to use.

    It's very cheap and has a lot music I haven't been able to find on other sites as far as I am aware. It's the most frustrating site to navigate however in my experience and opinion. I'm constantly receiving error messages and if it does take me to the page I want, it's painfully slow as far as I am concerned.
    I needed way too much patience for this site to be worth my while, therefore I do not recommend Legal Sounds.

    Bit rate is all over the place in my experience. The same album can have songs ranging from 128 to 256 and everywhere in between. That is, if you don't keep getting the error messages that prevent you from downloading whatsoever. This site may be cheap, but I'm personally willing to abandon the $50 I put into it just to save myself the frustration this site is causing personally. Therefore I do not recommend Legal Sounds.com

    This is one of the better MP3 website I've done. Had bad experience from using Usenet which charge each month and it was not base in U.S.A.
    I already download over 3000 songs and paid full with pride. Well recommend www.legalsounds.com.

    As far as I am aware you have to pre-pay before you download anything. In the terms & conditions mentions Federation of Russia or something like that, a bit concerning for using a credit card?
    Have downloaded over +350 song for less than $39.00 US with no problems to date therefore I recommend www.legalsounds.com as it's good value for money!
