Good Points: Very Cheap
Bad Points: No longer accepts UK credit Card payments..
General comments: Been using the site for a while and had no problems, library is not all inclusive but is pretty good for what you pay.
Option for UK (and US/Canada) credit card payments seem to have disappeared from site though, making it impossible to use.

It's very cheap and has a lot music I haven't been able to find on other sites as far as I am aware. It's the most frustrating site to navigate however in my experience and opinion. I'm constantly receiving error messages and if it does take me to the page I want, it's painfully slow as far as I am concerned.
I needed way too much patience for this site to be worth my while, therefore I do not recommend Legal Sounds.

Bit rate is all over the place in my experience. The same album can have songs ranging from 128 to 256 and everywhere in between. That is, if you don't keep getting the error messages that prevent you from downloading whatsoever. This site may be cheap, but I'm personally willing to abandon the $50 I put into it just to save myself the frustration this site is causing personally. Therefore I do not recommend Legal Sounds.com

This is one of the better MP3 website I've done. Had bad experience from using Usenet which charge each month and it was not base in U.S.A.
I already download over 3000 songs and paid full with pride. Well recommend www.legalsounds.com.

As far as I am aware you have to pre-pay before you download anything. In the terms & conditions mentions Federation of Russia or something like that, a bit concerning for using a credit card?
Have downloaded over +350 song for less than $39.00 US with no problems to date therefore I recommend www.legalsounds.com as it's good value for money!

Overall not a bad site the mp3s I've downloaded have been good quality but, I like many others have requested music albums and they never get them or as far as I am aware contacted me to explain if there's a problem.

LegalSounds is OK. There are some good things about it, like being really cheap, having a lot of content, and good incentives. But, I've used LegalSounds for almost a year and mostly I've grown frustrated with the service. Some artists they have just about every song ever written and you can find all the music you want by them. Other artists they have maybe 1 obscure album or none at all. The 'downloader; is easy to use and allows songs to be q'd.
Regularly updated.
Very Cheap.
Works and have been able to top up no problem
I would recommend Legal Sounds.

I'm into European rock and metal, and they seem to have the complete discographies of most artists in this genre. Reasonable interface and seems safe.
Not tried anything yet; but the catalogue looks very promising.

Legal Sounds in my opinion is NOT A GOOD SITE for the quality of MP3 ... if you are lucky you can get 320kbps.

As a US citizen be sure to avoid Assist and use ELS for payment.
Mainstream selection is great; not so for classical music. Good incentive bonuses. Higher bit rate than iTunes; no drama; I use a Mac, so no virus issues (if there are any).

Too good to be true? Works on basis that you effectively pay to listen to each song once - like how radios pay for the music they play.I am not happy with their service as I feel it's a bit dodgy? Dont recommend Legal Sounds.com.

I have used Legal Sounds for the last 8 months, and I am very impressed. Songs are .09, allowing you to buy an entire album for less than an iTunes song. It is very easy to get around with the Legal Sounds Downloader. They have many artists that iTunes does not have, and they have albums that iTunes doesn't have for many artists. Is it legal, thats the question. If I went to America and bought a CD I would still be able to play the CD legally here in the UK (having paid for the license in America). So buying the Mp3s in Russia should work the same way.... I just happen to be importing them via the internet instead of my suitcase!

Legal Sounds is extremely good value for money, there is a wide range of music available to download. The lay out of the site however is in alaphbetical order and can take time to get used since it uses Christian Names. Apart from this I recommend Legal Sounds and would still argue its the best Music and Download Site I have used.
